Y/n's POV

I can't do it.. I'm too nervous! "Y/n..? What did you want to tell me?" Jean was standing in front of me, awaiting my statement. I was going to confess my crush for him, but then I froze. "I-I.." I scratched the back of my neck. "Jean! Come here!!" Marco called to Jean. Thank Freckled Jesus.. "Sorry, Y/n.. Marco needs me. If you think of what you were gonna tell me, let me know!" Jean waved off with a smile, making his way to Marco.

~*Mini time skip*~

"How do I tell him?" I asked Sasha. We were at lunch, and she was scarfing down the soup and salad. Great Colossal Titan, her stomach is like a black hole.. "Just try to calm your nerves down." she stated simply, while gnawing on a stale piece of bread. Ew.. "That's just it.." I sighed. "I'm so shy, I can't!" I groaned.

"Here he comes now!" Sasha elbowed me. My head shot up, and my cheeks instantly reddened. Ok, Y/n. You can do this, I thought. Just tell him! "J-Jean!" I called, waving to him. Looking around to see who was calling his name, Jean locked eyes with me and smiled, waving in return. He jogged over to me and sat beside me. "Hey! Did you think of what to tell me yet?" he asked, eyes beaming. He seems happy.. "U-Uh yeah, I did.." I gulped, my hands slightly shaking.

I'm so fucking nervous.. "Go ahead." he seemed intrigued. "Okay.." I took a deep breath. "Jean.." I began, setting my hand on his. What am I doing. Stop. Abort mission!! ABORT ABORT!! "I-I've been wanting to tell you this for a while, but.." I brushed a strand of my (h/l) (h/c) hair from my face, and tucked it behind my ear. My nerves were bouncing all over the place, and I felt like I wanted to run away. "I-I like you, Jean!" I covered my face. Silence.. I peeked through my closed fingers, fear lingering. He was smiling, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks. "That's great to hear!" he smiled widely. I took my hands off my face. "H-Huh..?" I tilted my head. He wrapped his arms around me in a tight embrace, resting his chin on the top of my head.

"I like you too, Y/n.." He whispered into my ear. I shuddered.
