Chapter One:
Carly looked up from her hugely stacked up locker to her left seeing Hayden out of her eye. She took a moment to become mesmerised by his cute stance. Hayden had dark brown soft hair that seemed to fall effortlessly into a perfect style with matching sympathetic deep brown eyes. His cheeky grin was now in replaced by a concentrated look while he searched for his books. Hayden wasn't buff, he wasn't extremely tall and he wasn't what most people would call perfect. But to Carly, he was. Hayden shut his locker swiftly. Hayden turned to the right. He locked eyes for a second with Carly. Carly jumped up and looked away. Hayden walked pass Carly. He didn't not acknowledging her existence. This normally happened when he was in the presence of them. Them. The very people who make her life a living hell and only socialised with her when they needed Carly.
Carly felt disappointed for a second but then instantly realised how stupid she was. Hayden didn't and wouldn't be hers. She stood up from her locker. She pressed her head against the top locker her brown wavy long hair covering her face as to shield her from the world and its terrors. But the only terror in Carly's life was Hayden. The one ambition or goal she could never achieve. It was impossible.
Carly went into the bathroom. She was alone. She looked into the mirror. She stared at her own reflection. Her perfect brown hair that everyday she despised. Her beautiful light brown eyes that she secretly wished they were green or blue. Her curvy body that was a totally normal shape which she wished wasn't there. A piece of hair fell in front of her eyes, she raised her arm to flick it out of her way. She caught a glimpse of the new raw cuts that contrasted to her normal tanned skin. She held her hand there, forcing herself to look at how ugly she was. At that moment Tara came into the bathroom with the rest of her cloned gang. Carly quickly pressed the tap and a gush of clean pure water washed over Carly's hands. Tara was one of the most popular girls in school, the girl that Carly was sure Hayden secretly fancied. Tara had deep jet black hair that fell down just past her small breasts. She had curves in all the right places and an ass that all the guys fell for. Tara approached Carly,
"Listen, Im going to need some coke. You got any freak." Carly took in a deep breath.
"Yeah I got some. Its going to cost more this time though." Carly replied
Tara smirked and her posse of clones sniggered "How much."
"$150 a gram."
Tara's smirk dissolved "$150 for a gram! That's fucking insane!"
Now it was time for Carly to smirk "Listen I've got stuff to do, so its $150 or $150. If you want the coke pay up."
"Fine I need 3 grams. Im having a party. News flash, you're not invited."
Carly was close to crying in laughter at this. "Alright well that'll be $450 then won't it. Can you count that high?" Carly retaliated.
Tara glared at Carly. "When can I get it by."
Carly rolled her eyes. Obviously she isn't stupid enough to bring the drugs to school.
"3:30, your house."
Tara started walking out the bathroom but then stopped. Her vile posse behind her had to stop themselves from crashing into each other. "One last thing. I saw the way you were staring Hayden down. He's never going to love you. In fact I might just hook up with him tonight." Tara smiled sweetly, turned on her heals and strutted out the bathroom. Carly was once again left there alone in the bathroom.
