Chapter Three:
Carly arrived at her house. Her house was crummy looking and old as her horrible wrinkled maths teacher. She took a look in her car mirror that was cracked, now hopefully with the big deal she just made she would have the money to replace it. Her eyes which were dark already from the lack of sleep were more dark with the black eyeliner and eye make up that was smudged from the stupid tears that were staining her face.
Carly got out of the car slamming the door while doing so. She stormed into her house, as per usual no one was home. Brilliant, no one was there to disturb her much deserved sorrow. Carly ran up the stairs and threw the bathroom door open. She stripped of her clothes and threw them in the laundry basket. Carly moved toward the shower door and opened it. She turned on the tap of hot water and let it run down her body. The water seemed to not only calm her down but wash away her sorrows and cleanse her.
After all the hot water had been drained Carly got a fluffy blue towel from under her sink. She wrapped it around her body and went into her bedroom. As soon as she entered the bedroom her phone vibrated. Carly sat down on the bed and reached for her phone. The home screen stated that Dylan had messaged her. Carly sighed a heavy sigh. This meant more work was to be done today. The message said:
‘Hi Carly, I need your assistance at Tara’s house party. Bring the rest of the drugs. Good job securing that insane deal earlier. I knew I could count on you. Oh, make sure you wear something nice, you might have to stay for longer than expected. I’ll meet you there. Cheers Dylan.’
Carly threw her phone on her bed and face planted into the purple sheets. Great, just what she needed to see; bloody Tara and Hayden hooking up while she stood and watched with Tara giggling her ass off.
Carly opened her underwear drawer and picked out a bra and matching pants. After putting them on and her signature perfume and deodorant she went to her closet and browsed through the limited evening wear she had. She grabbed a tight green dress which was just above the knee and selected a black cute jumper to match her midnight black stiletto heels that she kept for special occasions. After making sure she looked presentable she got to work on her hair. She quickly dried it and wore it down unlike her usual side fishtail braid. Carly out lined the underneath of her eyes with the dark black eyeliner she used everyday, put on silvery black eyeshadow and to complete her look deep red lipstick.
Carly looked herself up and down in the mirror. “Christ, I look like a fake.” she muttered to herself. Carly grabbed her drug bag and stuffed her phone inside with the rest of the drugs. Carly sighed, she wished she had never been sucked into this world of drugs, sex and alcohol but she had to do what she had to do. She had to get the money she needed to succeed in her life. That meant she had to do all the illegal activity and not complain just till she could get out of this shit hole.
Carly as elegantly as she could descended the stairs. She grabbed her keys of the side table. Carly exited the door sighing once more she locked it behind her. She threw her car door open grunting while doing so. She face palmed on the steering wheel while she started her car. Before leaving she got out her phone and texted Dylan:
‘Hiya, Im on my way. This better be worth my time, you know how much I hate this bitch. Cheers Carly.”
Carly plugged her Iphone back into the stereo system of her car. She selected “I Love Rock and Roll” and drove once again to Tara’s house.
