10 years later

Marinette's P.O.V.

I woke up to my blazing alarm clock . It's summer for crying out loud ! Ugh, I groggily got up and went down . While going down , I noticed their were boxes piled up. I went and looked for mama and papa. They were sealing up a box.

"What's going on ?", I asked with a strong Chinese accent . After 10 years , I finally got used to talking in a different language. It was weird at first, but I got used to it. Mama and papa were making more and more money than enough , but we still choose to spend wisely.

"Marinette, we have great news !" , exclaimed mama. "We're going back to France !"

I was fully awake when mama said that . I have been waiting for this day . Don't get me wrong I love it here in China , but I miss my childhood friends . I still wore the necklace that Adrien gave me , and I still have the bracelet, but it was getting smaller for me to wear. So I tied it around my bag as a lucky charm.

I smiled as I thought of Alya , Nino , and him. I wonder how they're doing. But then I remembered Tikki. She was my only friend here in China. Because of mama and papa's job , o didn't really got along with the other kids , only Tikki was there.

I ran back up to my room and began to pack . My parents called out that we were leaving tonight ! I looked around to make sure that I didn't leave anything behind. Once I made sure , I grabbed my towel and went to take a shower.

I wondered who are Alya and Nino's soulmate . They probably got their marks , but I still haven't gotten mine. I looked at my blank arm . Not one letter was there. There were times that I wondered if I even have a soulmate. Then I thought of Adrien, I wonder who the lucky lady is.

I stopped the water and dried myself. I had left a special outfit for this occasion. I think I placed it at the box under my bed. I found it! I wonder if it still fits.

Like a glove. Wait , did I even gain weight or at least grew a bit ? I looked about the same as last year. But I still loved my outfit.

I always wanted to open a little boutique, so I saved up and with the money mama and papa gave me , it will happen soon . I just don't know when.

I grabbed my carry on and went down . I helped mama and papa pack all the boxes in the car . Uncle was going to send us to the airport . It was a tearful goodbye and I dreaded to call Tikki , but as it turned out , I didn't have to , because she's going with me !

On the way to the plane , we were talking on how we're going to have a girls day with Alya. We were already planning ahead when Tikki said her arm started to burn . I asked for some ice and placed it on her arm . She said it helped a bit .

But we were both shocked when letters were now in her arm . A hint on who her soulmate is ! The initials were P.M. We were both confused, but at the same time excited. Who could he be ?

"Tikki , this is amazing, you got your mark!"

"But what if he doesn't like me ?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Then it's his loss, you're an amazing girl , he should be thankful that he got you."

"Thanks Marinette."

"What are friends for."

Meanwhile ~

Adrien's P.O.V.

  I was drinking water after a fencing practice. In this class , I only had one friend . His name is Plagg Miraculous. We were friends ever since I gave him Camembert. That guy really loves cheese . We were in the lockers when he said he needed cold water .

I gave him mine, and he sprayed it on his arm . Then suddenly, letters popped up. T.K. His soulmate! He got his mark ! I was both happy and jealous.

"Plagg you got you mark !", I shouted , causing some to look our way.

"Thanks for telling me captain obvious.", he rolled his eyes. I now feel bad for his soulmate. She has to put up with this goofball .

"Who could be T.K. ?", he asked.

"Don't know , but you'll meet her soon , though , we all know that the mark will appear when you are already 15 or above and that your soulmate will meet you in 2 days - oww!"

Now my arm started to burn . Someone had water and sprayed it for me . They gathered around and a familiar initial met my eyes. M.C.

"Could it be ?", i whispered. But Plagg heard me.

"Who?"

I shook my head , "no one."

"Doesn't sound like no one."

Everyone was looking at me. I guess I should tell them. "I think it Marinette."

Their interest grew." That girl you met before bratzilla?"

I nodded , not even going to bother to defend Chloe . I keep on reminding her that we are just friends, but she believes that we belong with each other , even though her soulmate is tomato boy or Nathaniel .

"If it is her , then she must be coming back."

I nearly broke my locker trying to open the door. I searched for it , I hope I didn't loose it. There! I grabbed the box and opened it. The guys were gaping at the sight.

"Talk about relationship goals."

I waited for this day to come, I just hope my princess would accept it. But does she even remember me? I hope so . My lady , your knight is back for you. And this time, I'll never leave your side.

With Marinette

   I stared at my mark. I finally have it. The initials appeared. A.A. I hope it's Adrien. I only know his first name , but his last name is what I wasn't able to catch. I could only hope that it is my knight.
