Pheonix's Journey (Discontinued)

Surprise Gifts?!

           "So what is this thing you wanted to show me?" Pheonix asked as Noah lead her down into the basement. "Well it's actually a few things to be completely honest" he answered. "Well that's not worrying at all, and the fact that you put a blindfold on me is making this VERY less worrying" she said. "Don't worry just a couple more steps and... Tada!" Noah exclaimed, taking the blindfold off Pheonix. They were in a room that had a mirror, a box, a well that contained lava, and a chest. "What is all this stuff?" she asked. "It's your soon-to-be gift" he said making his way towards the chest and getting a diamond, two iron ingots, and a stick. 
           After he went over to the lava well and started to make something, meanwhile Pheonix sat down on a stone waiting. "Sis, you know how you said you've always wanted a diamond weapon but their too heavy for you?" Noah asked heading towards her, his hands behind his back. "Yeah why?" she replied. "Here you go gift, one out of two" he said showing her what he had made, a iron, diamond-tipped axe. "Aww that's so nice of you! But two gifts!? You didn't have to do this you know" Pheonix said receiving her axe. "Now you hold on to that, it took me some time to get the resources for it" Noah said, although Pheonix knew that was not the reason he told her to hold on to it. 
          "Hey Pheonix come here for a sec" he noticed something strange, and walked up to the mirror. "What is it?" she replied standing next to him. "You know how mum's eyes go weird sometimes because she's an aura?" he said, saying the word 'aura' with disgust. "Noah I know you you don't like to discuss this topic you can stop talking if you want" Pheonix said understandingly. "But your 15 now it's about time you know more about auras" he said. "Why?" she asked. "Pheonix if you haven't noticed we're both what you call a half-aura, which is and aura that is half human" he stated. "I-I know you are, y-you told me, and don't take this the w-wrong way but I-I don't believe you" Pheonix stuttered, after what she was told when she was 13 this couldn't be a good thing.
"Do you want me to show you, will you believe me then?"
"Show me w-what?"
"Think of something that makes you feel any sort of emotion"
"O-okay" she thinks about...
Pheonix's POV
         "Look in the mirror" I heard Noah say. When I looked in the mirror I was surprised of what I saw, Noah was right I was a half-aura, my normal brown eyes had changed to a green color. I was about to scream until Noah quickly said "Don't! Not all auras, or half-auras, are bad! Remember mom she's an aura and we're all right!!" He had a point there. "Do you just want to forget all this happened?" he asked. "No, it's best if I know so that it won't surprise me later" I replied ", how about we just move on with whatever you were going to do?" "Yeah that sounds better" he answered. "Anyways what I meant to show you was this" Noah walked over to the box. "So the thing you were going to show me is in a box?" I asked. "Just go ahead and open it..." I went over to the box and opened it. Rawr! A small dragon is inside, notably happy to see me. "Hello little one" I said patting the dragon's head. ",this is so cool!!"
"I know right! Have you decided on a name for it?"
"I just got him! Don't expect to think of a name right away!"
"But that's the type of thing you'd do"
"True, how about Stargazer "
"Sounds cool, where'd you get that from?"
"Stars are shiny, and so is my necklace, which he's trying to get right now..So he might like stargazing?"
"I was just asking"
          Wait, I'm supposed to go meet up with Petra!! "Hehehe yeah well I got to go bye!!!" I said and ran back up to the palace, and then towards the fountain, followed by Stargazer.

          "Hey Petra!" I greeted slightly exhausted from running. "So this is the 'gift' Noah wouldn't stop talking about?" Petra asked. "Yep! It's so cool right!" I replied jumping up and down, while Stargazer tried to imitate my actions. "Yeah it's not everyday that you get a dragon as a gift" she responded ",want to head over to the field?"
"I'm not allowed to go past the Blazetown's borders"
"It's not that far from here. What harm could come from just one field?"
"I guess your right... Let's go then! C'mon Star!"
