Chapter 5

Jayden really isn't the typical bad boy, honestly it is all just an act. When it is just him and I he is totally different.

We slid into his car and start to drive to the cafe. "How long have you been singing?" He asked taking me from my thoughts.

"Since I can remember my brothers and I always sing together." He nods keeping his eyes on the road.

I was playing with my fingers, which is what I always do when I am nervous. A firm and warm grasp wraps around my hands. I smile as Jayden rubs his thumb over my and soothing me. "You will do great, you always do." he tells me.

I nod and say, "Thanks."

Once we finally get there I got out nervously. I last time I preformed was 4 weeks ago. I take a deep breath than walk in, Jayden following me. "Your coming?" I ask.

"Yeah" he smirks.

I murmur to myself, "Oh god." I hear his chuckle at my response.

I walk up to the stage and see Benson there talking to the sound guy. "Hey!" I say walking to him.

"Hi! Good your here." I nod.

"You will start in 5 minutes." He says excitedly.

In those 5 minutes all I did was hum all of the music I was going to do. "Okay your up!" Benson tells me before walking away. I go and sit on the stool in front of the mic.

"Hello I'm Haven and I will be singing for y'all today! The first song I will be singing is treat you better by Shawn Mendes" I say to the audience and they clap before I start.

I step off of the stage and people are telling me how good they though I was and stuff like that. I walk over to where I see Jayden with a smile and he smiles back.
