I wake up to not a warm presence of Jayden but to a cold loss. I look at the door leading to the bathroom and hear the shower running. That is very surprising because I almost never wake up after Jayden, he hates mornings. I get up and walk to my sleepover bag I keep here with clothes in it. I grab out a pair of shorts and a graphic tee.
I quickly put on my clothes. I look at myself in the full body mirror in the corner of the room. I put a flannel shirt around my waist. I pull out my hair from my messy bun and grab my brush. I start at the tips of my hair and work my way up my hair. I realized I started to sing.
"Hey, I was doing just fine before I met you I drank to much and that an issue but I'm okay." I sang while brushing me hair.
I continued "Hey, tell your friends it was nice to meet them, but I hope I never see them again. I know it breaks your heart, drove to the city in a broke down car and 4 years no calls and now your looking pretty in a hotel bar. And I -I-I can't stop. You know I-I-I can't stop." I sing loudly in my normal singing voice.
As I continue to sing the song I hear another voice join in on the sound of the song being sung. "So baby pull me closer in the back seat of your rover that I know you can't afford. Bit that tattoo on your shoulder, pull the sheets right off the corner of the mattress that you stole from your roommate back in boulder we ain't ever getting older." We sing I turn around to see Jayden in only his black jean, no shirt, still with his messy hair.
"Keep singing don't let me stop you." he smirks going into his closet to get a black tee. I roll my eyes and giggle at his cute smirk and go back to doing my hair. Since that song I was singing was stuck in my head I started to hum it and singing in my head. 'Hey, you look as good as the day I met you' I hum and then Jayden starts to actually sing the song.
"I forget just why I left you I was insane. Stay and play that Blink 182 song that we beat to death in Tucson, okay." he sing slipping his shirt over his head.
I decide to join back in on the singing "I know it breaks you heart I moved to the city in a broke down car and 4 years no calls and now I'm looking pretty in a hotel bar and I-I-I can't stop you know I-I-I can't stop." I sing walking over to him.
"So baby hold me closer in the back seat of your rover that I know you can't afford bite that tattoo on your shoulder." We both in together.
I smile at him as the corners of his lips start form a smile. He rest his forehead against mine and say, "I love your singing. How did I get so lucky to get the most talented girl be my girlfriend." He smiles making me blush.
"Have you never heard Halsey's voice" I joke walking over to where I put my hair tie. He follows me over to where I am in front if the full body length mirror. "Are you kidding me I rather listen to you sing than her." He kisses the side of my head wrapping his arms around my waist laying his head in my shoulder.
I start to French braid my hair. "Can you tie this?" I ask Jayden who still has his arms around me. He nod and I hand him my hair tie. He quickly wraps the hair tie around the end off my hair. "Thank you!" I squeal turning around to face him.
"We gotta get going." I tell him pecking his lips than walking down stairs.
A few minutes later after I put on my black and white high top converse, Jayden comes down the stairs with his hair done and know fully dressed. He is wearing black jeans, a black tee, with his black matte boots and his signature black leather jacket. "How did I get so lucky to fine such a hot guy to date?" I question playfully. He comes over and kisses my lips softly.
"Your so cute." he chuckles pulling away from our kiss.
I grab my backpack and a granola bar then walk out he door to the car. Jayden revs up the engine making it purr. We pull out of his driveway and towards school. "Warning everyone is still talking about your singing from my birthday party" I laugh. The day he went to school before he left for Ohio everyone was raving about how well Jayden can sing.
