Chapter 9

"Sorry," Paul apologised to Bella as he walked in.

He headed straight for me, and wrapped his arms around me.

"Italy, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to, I'm sorry," he cried.

Percy turned his head towards us, eyes blazing in fury.

"You mean to say that you were the one to hurt my little sister," he growled.

"Paul, it's fine. I've been through worse and you, Percy, stop. It wasn't his fault. He couldn't control it, oh and Kelli visited me last night," I said.

Everyone looked at me with shock. I looked at Percy and mentally told him that I'll explain later and he nodded his head.

"Should we tell them about dad?" I asked Percy, "I mean, it'll only be fair since I know about their secret but they don't know mine."

"Yeah, I guess, but I wanna know about their secret too," Percy whined.

"They're wolf shifters," I stated.

Percy sighed, "we'll that's not a very fun secret."

"I know, but it is still their secret and they'll be shunned as well as hunted down if people found out."

"I know," Percy turned to the pack and our cousin, "so, what do you guys know about Greek mythology?"

"Percy!" I exclaimed, hitting him on the arm, "I wanted to ask that." He stuck his tongue out at me, "so childish. Anyway, can anyone answer his question."

"I know that there's, like, Zeus and Hercules," Bella answered.

"It's actually Heracles, but yes, there's the twelve Olympians and also many other minor gods. Poseidon, one of the big three, is our dad. God of water, earthquakes and the creator of horses. He has more titles, but I can't be bothered staying them all right now. So, Percy and I are Greek demigod. Oh, and the Roman gods also exist," I explained.

"Woah, overload on information much," Jared said.

"Well if Annabeth was here, she would..." Percy started.

"I would what, Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth asked, appearing out of nowhere.

"Annabeth!" I exclaimed, launching myself at her as Percy turned white.

"Oh, um, kill Paul?" He said.

"Who is Paul and why would I kill him?" Annabeth interrogated.

"That dude there and because he hurt Italy. The proof is the scars on her face," Percy rushed out for I could say anything.

Annabeth pulled away from me before looking at my face in anger. She then turned to Paul and backed up holding out his hands.

"What did you do to her?" She hissed.

"Annabeth, he didn't mean to. I jumped in front of him when he shifted and he clawed my face by accident," I quickly said.

Just as Annabeth replied, Jacob rushed in (I didn't even noticed that he or Bella weren't in the room... What if she got hurt?) and said, "I know why the redhead is here. She's after Bella."

Everyone besides Percy Annabeth and I, started to shout.

"Shut up!" I yelled and everyone became quiet. "Thank you, now it's obvious on what we have to do. Keep Bella safe while patrolling the area. It's easy, if we don't get to kill her right away, t hats fine because at least we know why she'll be back."

They all nodded their heads, accepting that plan. It might not be as good as the ones Percy, Annabeth and Athena make, but it's simple enough.
