I never thought this time would come around. Oikawa thought. It's been a while since I went back to such a place. But, I think I'm ready for it. He thought to himself.
Oikawa was just waking up when his alarm went off. He pushed the snooze button and got out of bed. While standing up he stretched from the uncomfortable bed and walked over to his closet. The hardest thing ever to choose when you can't see color.
He tried his best to match the deep shades of grey. Giving up, he chose a dark pair of jeans and a light grey long sleeve shirt with a little alien at the top left of the shirt. He always liked aliens and wondered when they might show up.
He would always look up at the dark sky and wonder when will they come and what they look like. Let's just say he has an obsession about aliens. He was one weird guy, but not like those other people who are over the top with aliens.
Although no one has ever seen aliens, he still wants to see them. He was one weird teenager. But, who is normal now a days.
On the other hand, Oikawa had a lot of things on his mind. Moreover, Iwaizumi. He had Iwa on his mind all night long. Especially his eyes. The color that Oikawa has never seen in his entire life. They out of this world of grayness, like a whole other dimension. It was kind of hard to explain for Oikawa.
After he was finished getting ready for his first day of school, he grabbed his wallet, phone, and book bag and walked out of his apartment locking the door behind him. What surprised him was a man next to him about six feet away.
"Oh, hi Oi. Where are you off to this early?" Iwaizumi asked quietly, obviously confused.
"Heyo, Iwa-chan! I was heading off to school." He waved his hand,"What about you?" Iwaizumi seemed confused, still. He thought that Oikawa was an older man and in collage are something, not a teenager. What if he went to the same school as me. Iwaizumi thought.
"I'm going to school, too. What school do you go to?" He asked. Oikawa had to think for a moment before answering.
"Hmm, I think it was called 'Aoba Johsai'. Yeah." Oikawa smiled at Iwa and held up a piece sign."I'm a third year!" Oikawa let out a soft laugh. Iwaizumi quietly let out a soft chuckle. He thought Oikawa was weird. Just look at what he was wearing, an alien. On his shirt, like really Oi.
Well, he couldn't blame Oikawa for mixing up his clothes. Iwa thought it was quite funny actually. Iwaizumi can tell they don't match, he took classes where he could tell what color was what by the type of shade of gray. What else could he do to pass time.
He brushed the thought off. "I go to the same school. Third year, also." He smiled at Oikawa who looked like he just saw a rainbow.
"Really?! Then let's go! You can show me around and stuff, I didn't attend for two years, so could you maybe help me out?" Oikawa asked as they were starting to walk towards the elevator. Iwaizumi nodded.

As they were walking to school together, they talked about many things. More than likely what their soulmate might be. Also about aliens, as to Oikawa's suggestion.
They came upon a star bucks and decided to get a drink, seeming how they haven't had any breakfast yet. Oikawa getting a caramel cappuccino and Iwaizumi getting a dark chocolate latte.
Afterwards they were back outside walking to where they had to be. It was quiet for a couple minutes until Oikawa broke it.
"So, there was this weird, I don't, thing that happened last night that got me wondering for the whole night." he said emphasizing 'thing'. He wasn't so sure if he should tell Iwaizumi or not about the weird experience he had last night.
Iwaizumi looked puzzled as to what Oikawa was trying to tell him.
"What the hell are you trying to say, Oi? Just say it." He said as he took a sip of his latte like it was the easiest thing to do in the world. Well, to Oikawa, it wasn't so easy. He didn't even know what was happening with that glimpse of something that looked out of the ordinary.
He decided to give up his thoughts and tell Iwaizumi what was going on. "Last night, while we were talking, you asked me if I was alright, right?" He asked his friend. Iwaizumi nodded like it was the most obvious thing.
"Yeah, cause' you looked like you saw a ghost. Like seriously, what happened?" He let out a small laugh at the possible thoughts of what had happened to make Oikawa suddenly go blank and wide-eyed. Oikawa gave him a glare and went back to what he was saying.
"Well, the thing that was wrong, was that I saw this kind of glimpse of," He thought for a moment about what word to use, "A strange hue other than gray in your eyes. Like, the color of your eyes had changed for me." Still stumbling over what words to use to describe the experience, he looked over to Iwaizumi.
Iwaizumi was so confused. What did he mean by his eye color changed? Then it hit him like a big truck.
"Like, a bright color?" Oikawa nodded at the question. "What color? Or can you tell?" Iwaizumi seemed a little bit concerned. What if there was something wrong with Oikawa's vision? Or something wrong with him?
Oikawa thought for a minute before answering. "I can't really tell what colors are what, but after that, your eyes were the same kind of green that some of the trees were. It was kind of a darker grey then usual, though." He felt like a famous artist for identifying the color gray.
Letting out a small sigh of relief, Iwaizumi spoke. "That's called green, Oi. It's the color of my eyes. I can tell because I took extra classes on how to identify what gray is what color. And clearly your clothes don't really match color wise." He smiled.
Oikawa gave him yet another glare and was back into deep thought. "But the question is, why did this happen? I'm so confused!" He whined squinting his face.
Without realization, Iwaizumi thought that was cute. 'Wait. What the hell am I thinking? Why am I thinking this?' He thought panicking inside. On the outside, he looked like he was forgetting something. He stopped in his tracks to process what was going on.
Oikawa looked back at his friend. "What's wrong, Iwa-chan?" Obvious concern in his voice.
Iwaizumi looked at Oikawa. "N-nothing! I'm fine, I just forgot....uh......my charger at home." He smiled nervously. "Don't worry 'bout me, shittykawa." He snickered at the nickname he gave Oikawa.
Yet again, Oikawa gave him another glare. "Haha, very funny. I am not shitty you meany!" He crossed his arms and gave an exaggerating look.
Seconds after, Iwaizumi caught up to Oikawa and smacked the back of his head (Not hard! lol!) to follow him. Soon, they were back on their way to school. Iwaizumi was still a little flustered and frustrated about what he thought. What was happening with him and why was he being so nice to Oikawa? All this made his head hurt.
What was this feeling?
