Chitoge pov...
okay..i have to be brave. If i don't do anything then i can't tell him how i feel. "okay. how do i look tsugumi?" i asked looking in the mirror. "you look fine chitoge. but why are you getting all dolled up again?"
"I told you i'm hanging out with onodera." i tried telling her that i was going out with raku today but it was nerve racking and i froze and said onodera instead. "okay i guess you sure you don't want me to come with you for protecting?"
"No i'm just gonna have a normal day with my friend thats it."
"Um...normal isn't a very approprite word for a daughter of a rich gang leader."
"well i say it normal. Well i'm going now. see you later" i waved as I walked out the door and down to our meeting point. "hmm he's late." i whined softly and sat down on the bench as i look around and wait. finally 5 minutes later i spot him walking towards me and smiling. "Your late bean sprout." I smiled softly and got up. "sorry, sorry. i'm here now aren't I?"
"Yeah i guess now lets go. Um....what do you want to do?" i asked looking down as we walk around the streets. "Hm..."
"Oh i know come on!" i jumped up happily and took his hand and raced to the mall and into the arcade. "What are we doing here?"
"Come on lets go take some pictures." i said pointing to a photo booth. "Um...ins't that for..you know. couples?"
"I-I know but we are fake-dating and maybe people want to see photos of us so we should you know?" I blushed softly and looked up at him. "okay okay lets do this." He said as we walked in.
"ready?"
"Ready." He replied and i turn it on. "okay what pose should we try first?" Raku asked. "hmm...wrap your armsaround me." I blushed. "Wh-what?"
"Well we want to appeal to these people that we're in love."
"B-but...what if you find someone you love after this relationship finally ends?" ends? well we still do have two years of this left before we go our seperate ways. but it hurts to think of that. But i also want to see him happy. I know he wants to marry onodera but now that he's stuck with me he can't.
"Well t-thats why we have memories. So come on unless your scared?" I smirk trying to hide my small pain.
Raku pov..
"what if you find someone you love after this relationship finally ends?" why does my heart hurt when saying that? we only have two more years left. that's what i've been waiting for since the moment we became a fake couple. Then i can be with onodera.
"Well t-that why we have memories. so come on..unless your scared?" she smirked brushing her hair back. But it seems more forced then usual. I got up and held her from behind and stared at the screen. "here you happy?" I asked. She was about to say something but then stoped and turned to look at the screen.
3....2....1...*flash*
"okay next. let's make the funniest faces possible. you go first." she smiled. I smiled back and tried making one as stupid as possible. Once i made it and looked back at her she covered her mouth and looked away. "I.....I'm n-not l-laughing.I...i swear" She tried saying while laughing.
"Okay now it your turn." i breath puttting my face back to normal. i took a quick glance and did the same thing she did. "Y-you know....y-your only making that gorilla gil nickname more true with that face." i laughed holding my stomach more the lack of air. "Hey shut it!"
Flash*
"W-what? Please don't tell me..."
"Oh god that's staying!"
"No you better not! delete it!"
"No way! haha"
We took a few more before leaving and arguining about it for a good 10 minutes beefore laughing it off and finding more things to do. She seems more cuter then usual too. "you know now that i look at you your more dolled up then usual."
"Huh? Oh i just put on te first outfit i saw." She blushed softly and looked down. "I'm hungry let's go get us some food." She stood up and prushed off her skirt. "okay should we go somewhere knew or the just the usual?"
"Usual. No one can replace the holy ramen shop." She praised. "Okay."
We made our way over there and got our ramen and left.
"it's getting pretty late, past dinner actually. i think we should call it a day."
third person pov..
they stopped and looked at each other "Past dinner alreaady?" Chitoge asked almost coldly. "Yeah i told the guys that i'd be back by now. We should call it a day" Raku replied. "i'll walk you home. If you want i mean." She bit her lip softly. walking up to hm and holding her hand out to him. "Please?" she added. Her eyes almost looked despret for it to go on just a bit longer
"You really don't have to." He said looking down at her hand and back at her. part of him wanting to continue on. "It's fine really i'll drop you off and call claude to pick me up. please don't leave" she whispered the last part and looked down scared of his answer. "What was that last part?"
"I didn't say anything. Jeez if you want to leave so badly just go. All you have to say it no" She pouted and looked away watching the sun fall down slowly and the clouds turning purple-ish. "i never said no. If we want to walk with me then fine. i don't want you to leave anyways" He said walking off towards his house. seconds later realsing what he said and walking faster. "Wait what did you say?" she asked running up besides him. "Nothing. i said nothing" he blushed as they walked for what felt like minutes until they made it to his house, "oh we're hear already. well i guess this is goodbye."
"yeah." she replied standing still. "um...bye." He said awkwardly as he slowly made his way to the front door. "bye"
Come on chitoge you have to tell him. you have to be brave. Just say those three words.
"I.... I love you." She said clutching her hands tight and closing her eyes. Nothing....still nothing. She looked up and saw he was already inside and sighed. "Damn it. That was your chance and you blew it." She mumbld to herself and took her phone out. "Hey claude....yes i'm okay....no he didn't hurt me....okay i just need a ride home....i'm in front of his house...bye." she hung up and sighed holding back how her tear trying to fall.
Raku pov....
"Two more years and this will all end.." But i don't want it to end.. "But what id she's i love with someone else?" Then i have to tell her how i feel before i never get the chance. "what about the promise girl?" That was back when i was a kid.we all say things back then but soon make different plans when we grow up. "But what about onodera." It's either her or chitoge. "I have all the answers to these questions except for the one." I sighed and laied down on my bed. "Welcome home young master." they smiled as they walked past. I didn't reply and covered my eyes. why did ithave to be now that i realize-
"i love you chitoge."
