Almost : A Laurmau Fanfiction

An Amazing and Awful Day

I'm in our ship leaning over Malachi, Laurance behind me holding my shoulders, comforting me. Ginger is on the other side staring at his shut eyes. He's alive for now but we don't have enough medical supplies for him. We are really lucky Racheal is a doctor. She's looking over him. Laurance leans down and whispers in my ear " You should get some rest. " I sniffle " No... I need to stay with him. " Laurance sighed. " Please Aphmau, you need your rest I can watch him for a while? " he questions. I look up and slightly nod my head. I stand up and start walking to my cabin. Kiki is waiting outside for me she hold me as we walk to the cabins. Kiki whispers " Aphmau? I... Um... I'm engaged. " my face lights up. And a smile forms on my face. " Who! Who! Who! " I chant. " Ashtor! " she squeals. Then her face turns back to a frown. " But I knew today wasn't meant to be happy, so I haven't told anyone else... " I nod. I just hope Malachi gets better. Kiki waves and walks of. I lay on my bed and drift into a dream.

Dream:

I'm in a fancy garden. In a purple dress, I walk through it gazing at all the roses, lilacs, tulips, daisies and many other flowers. When I reach the left corner there is a wedding with Kiki and Ashtor. Then I walk through to the right corner, there is home, Levin, Zoe and Dante greeting refugees and doing business or magicks. After that, I stroll through until I reach one of the back corners which has a beautiful black gown, I change into it and smile. Then the last corner I go up to see a white stone entrance completely covered in vines, Laurance underneath it. He grabs my hand and pulls me inside. He looks like he's on the verge of tears, " I'm sorry " he whispers. I look down to see a gravestone with Malachi engraved on it. I gasp and cover my mouth and collapse bawling my eyes out.

" Aphmau! " Laurance yells. I sit up and yell " What?! " and then I notice fear in his eyes " Follow me quick! We're losing him! " I run down into the room to see he's dead on the bed I'm crying a lot. More then I ever have before. Then my vision turns fuzzy until it's completely black.

I wake up in Pheonix Drop I must have passed out. I see a black dress nothing like the one in my dream and realize what day it is. I get dressed and walk down to the tombstones and attend the funeral. After all the speeches and everything. Laurance comes in front of us and calls me up too. I walk up and then he kneels down opens a tiny box with a shiny diamond ring he smiles and I say " I do. "
