I can't believe the plane is late. It had to be late on the day I finally meet them. What if it never comes, I'll have spent all this money for nothing! Oh, and I wouldn't get to meet my friends either. It has to come. "Flight 23 to Florida, boarding now," said the lady at my gate. Ok good, now I just have to get on the plane and find my seat! Hopping into the end of the line with my small carry-on thrown over my shoulder, I was all smiles. I was finally going to meet them, my friends. Ah, it felt nice to say that. Meeting my friends, at last. To say I was excited would be a major understatement. I was over-the-moon. I had been waiting for this for ages, ever since we all started talking. I felt like I could tell them anything. We were honest with each oth-"Ma'am, your ticket," she said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I handed her the ticket, embarrassed and took it back from her, going into the tunnel that led to the plane. I walked down the crowded aisle, passing a bunch of people, and even a screaming baby. Ouch, crying and screaming aren't a good combination for me. Finally finding my seat, I sat down, pulling a book out of my carry-on and shoving the small red bag under the seat in front of me. I opened it and started to read, when my seat jolted. Great, looks like we have a chair kicker.
