"Okay Noah, I have been holding this for too long and I think it's time for you to know." I stated. "I'm gay." I finally declared.

"Oh crap, you're not good at this." Responded Amy while she rolled her eyes.

"What should I do then?"

"I already gave you my opinion about this." She shrugged.

"Bu-t."

"No buts!" She interrupted me. "Again, I don't want you to tell him about it yet".

"Okay okay fine I won't."

"Good."

"By the way, thanks for saving my life yesterday, I didn't expect you to be there." I noted.

"You're welcome! We're friends now."

"Honestly, I, I mean, me and my family are having a really rough time." I nodded. "Since my grandfather passed away, my grandmother started to make problems for us and sinceyou know my mom doesn't work and my father only has the restaurant that my grandfather left which my grandmother is threatening to snatch away including the partnership of my other uncles as well."

"I'm sorry to hear that." She spoke while she wrapped her hands around my shoulders as she pulled me to hug.

"Thanks again."

"Dude come on, I only paid for your drink, it's nothing."

*Knocks on the door*

"Can I come in?" Said someone as they made their way into my bedroom.

"What do you want Chris?" I said through gritted teeth.

"I'm here to apologize."

"Since when?"

"I messed up this time." Regret was clear in his tone. "Can I borrow you for a second?"

"I'll be going." Mumbled Amy. "Call me when you're done." She added as she tried to leave the room yet I was fast enough to pull her from her hand: "Amy is my friend so if you have something to say it's going to be right here and right now."

Chris stood there as if he was taking aback he was feeling wronged and worn-out. Usually, I'm the one who asks for forgivness even when I'm not the one who messed up.

"I'm sorry." He finally acknowledged. "I shouldn't have treated you that way."

"Apology accepted." Coldly, I reacted.

"That's it?"

"Why? Are you expecting more?" I questioned. "Was it necessary to aim at my breaking point? Do you really think that apologizing would heal these wounds especially after what your mother said?"

"Don't you dare talk about my mother!" He yelled. "It's not like she's wrong or anything."

"I thought you were coming to make things better but looks like you're always ready to pick up fights." I raged.

"Don't you ever rage at me." He yelled and grabbed me from my shirt as his fist collided to my jaw causing for me to fall on the ground.

"OH MY GOD!" Amy screamed out loud. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?" She screamed even louder. She quickly pushed him away of me. Chris stood there not knowing what to do. "Oh my God, Liam are you okay?" She asked helping me to get up from the floor. "I won't forgive you." She said to Chris.

Too late he has already left the house.

"What a psychopath! Stay here Liam I'll bring some ice." She ran downstairs looking for a bag of ice in the refrigirator and came back as fast as thunder. She begun to place it on my jaw in order for the scar to go away.
