"Dude you made it obvious!" Said Chris while grabbing a soda out of the fridge.

"Come on, you are making a big deal out of it." I replied while I was looking through the variety of films we'll be watching tonight.

"First I'm not making a big deal out of it, second don't expect every single guy you meet to be gay." He advised taking a sip from his cold freezing bottle of soda.

"Excuse me?" I raised a brow.

"Excuse you! I think you should stop with this behaviour it's not taking you anywhere."

Chris' words rang loud in my mind.

"Okay so are you serious right now? Because I really don't know anything at this point." I asked confusedly.

"I am dead serious." He answered in the most serious tone I have ever heard. "I have told you for the millionth time that we live in a country where you are not allowed to be who you are Liam and even if you do don't expect everyone to be as happy as you are about it."

"Take that back!" I warned.

"I won't." He shrieked.

"I thought you won't hold a grudge over this also you promised that you will never take it for granted." I nodded.

"Listen Liam, I'm trying not to take it for granted but you have to admit that you like being gay."

"I have told you that I am trying to live with it, it was never my choice until I couldn't change the fact that I am gay, I have tried so hard but it's not paying off."

"Go tell your parents about it then!"

"Do you want me to end up dead? You have just said that our society will never accept me for being different and now you ask me to come out to my parents?" He tried to interrupt me but I continued: " Also, do you want me to tell them that I have been raped by my cousins at the age of five? What the hell are you talking about Chris?"

"Don't get me wrong Liam it's j-u-s-t."

"Oh no I am getting you wrong." I interrupted him saying. "Normally this isn't the way you should be talking to me."

"Then you can leave." He coldly replied.
"You think the truth is some big shiny disco ball of purity? Then go ahead and try it. Be honest, see where it gets you."

I was speechless. Chris was never this mean to me his words cut deep, deeper than a knife.

I stood from my chair and made my way downstairs, he kept staring at me as if I did some horrible deed. He used to be understanding and he never really judged me until this time, looks like the idea of joining him wasn't a right decision after all.

"Aren't you supposed to sleepover?" Asked Chris' mother when she saw me leaving from the back door.

"I, I actually got into a fight with Chris." I muttered.

"Really?" She raised a brow. "I think you did him wrong then." She looked at me upside down.

"I did nothing."

"I don't know what went wrong but on thing I'm sure of is that each and every friend of Chris' including you care about your own needs."

"Excuse me?" I widened my eyes in confusion.

"Listen to me Liam, you only care about my son because you all need him and his money."

"Just because you have money doesn't mean that you can always get what you want." I finally replied after she shut her filty mouth. "One more thinj you can buy whatever you want but you will never buy friends for your son."

"I will replace you all! I will get him other friends and I promise you will be chocked when his new friends show up."

She kept screaming while I got out and headed to my house which was only one house away from theirs. I slowly opened the door and walked in not wanting to make any sound that will have my mother's attention. I took off my shoes and walked around the house like a thief, tooka bottle of water from the fridge and then went to my room where I lied in bed and dialed Eveline's number.

"Hello baby!" Her sweet and soft voice called form the other line.

"Are you sleeping?" I asked.

"About to." She muttered. "Is everything alright?"

"I got in a fight with Chris."

"I have told you to be careful. Was it him or his mother?"

"It was him at first and then his mother. I was supposed to spend the night at his place after we finished training."

"So de you finally join him?"

"Yes after he offered to pay for m-"

"Oh my God! You shouldn't have let him pay for you, his mother won't stop talking about it." She sighed. "Don't you remember the time when she told me that it was me who suggested a perfume for my birthday? She then went and told everyone about it and it was Chris' idea, that family is a true pain in the ass Liam."

"I know. I shouldn't have agreed even my mother wasn't for."

"See? Your mother knows best."

"Anyway, she went like 'You only care about yourselves and you're only friends with him because he has everything' and all that same old blah bah blah..."

"Don't give a damn about what she said we know her well. So tell me about you joining a swimming team was it good?"

"You won't believe that, that was the reason why we fought! I joined team blue who's captain was hot as hell and really do have a huge crush on him so when we went home he picked the fight talking crap, he's never going to accept me for who I am.

"Screw him, let's just talk about your teammate. Tell me everything."

We kept talking and talking until the beautiful sun rays barely made their way throughout my narrow pointed window.

We kept talking and talking until the beautiful sun rays barely made their way throughout my narrow pointed window.

"Knock Knock, can I come in?" Asked my little brother while he walked in. "I had some bad dreams." He nodded.

"Come sleep by my side." I sugessted smiling to recomfort him. He lied next time staring at the variety of booksI had on the rooftop.

"Can you read something for me?" He asked as he pulled away the pillow.

"Okay." I grabbed a book and started reading for him but he interrupted me saying : "I overheard daddy and mommy saying that we are running out of money, is it true? Are we going to become poor?"

I widened my eyes : "Everything will be alright." I muttered as I pulled him to a hug.
