Maya's POV
"Maya?" Riley asked kindly, with a hint of worry in her voice. " Yeah" I replied noncholantly, as if nothing was wrong. " You've been acting a little odd lately. Is something wrong?" Riley asked concerned. " I'm fine, why do you think something's wrong?" I said confidently even I was not fine. Something was wrong, I just didn't know what. " Okay, Peaches." Riley wrapped her arms around me and squeezed me tight. I feel so bad lying to Riley but I felt that I needed to keep this to myself. Riley crawled back through the window and crawled back out. As the window shut red beams of light shone through my skin. Just as I saw I realized what's been going on. " Oh no" I muttered under my breath.
