KAIA'S POV -

"Hunter! Come on, seriously!" I yell from the bottom of the stairs, waiting for Hunter to come so we can go meet up with Blake, Geo, Loren, Ariel, Joey, and Brandon. The reason why Brandon didn't return home last night was because he spent the night with Joey at his place. "Ugh, you took like 10 years, but let's go" I roll my eyes at my younger brother by 7 minutes. 

It's hard being the older twin of Hunter Rowland, and siblings of Brandon and Ashton. You may think it's all fun and glamour but it's troubling when you are the oldest in the family but you're just lurking in the shadows, trailing behind. 

We walk to Loren's house, and Blake opens it. "Hey, who's this cutie?" Blake said eyeing me up and down. "This is my um, friend, Kaia." Hunter said, as I just sadly nodded. "Anyway, we're all upstairs in Loren's room." Blake said leading us to her room. As soon as I stood one inch in her room eyes were on me. "Hi, I'm Kaia... Hunter's friend" I smile slightly. "Well, I'm Loren, this is Ariel, Geo's over there, Brandon, Blake who you met before, and this is Joey." She signals me for a hug so I lightly give her a hug and sit down and scroll through my Instagram.

I get a lot of hate, and questions about my last name.

"Guys, we should go to the beach" Ariel suggested. Everyone was up for it, so I just follow them. Hunter and I go home and we change into bathers and I put a loose see-through crop top and high waisted shorts on with thongs. I put my hair in a bun, and grab my beach bag which already has stuff in it. I grab my phone, and we all walk to the beach because it wasn't far from our houses. 

After the Beach

Everyone but Hunter, Brandon and I walk different directions to our houses. "Hunter, why am I just the unknown sister? Why? What do I do that you're so ashamed of that I can't be known as Kaia Rowland?" He just completely ignores the subject, so I text Brandon.

To Brandon

Why do you pretend I'm a 'friend,' I'm apart of your flesh and blood. Don't go around telling people that! Why am I just the unknown sister? WHY?

Great, what a family. At least Ashton, doesn't ignore me.
