A week, with my phone ringing off the hook. Haven't gone home, because... I'm fearful of Hunter. I don't feel safe, he might try to kill me as far as I know, if he puts his mind to it.
Incoming Call - Brando 😎
Me - Hi Brando
B - Oh thank god I got a hold of you!
Me - I'm fine, I don't know why you're checking on me since you don't care.
B - We do care Kai, we're here!
Me - Fine, I'll come home to my home. On one condition, as long as Hunter can't just bolt through my door and run around like he's the king.
B - Y-ye-yes, yes, he won't be here. We miss you

Guess I better go 'home,' yeah?
As I start walking, a car's headlights blinded my sight so I couldn't see where I was going, and before I knew it, I felt my head smack on the ground and my eyes shut.
Fucking drunk drivers.
Brandon's POV -
I started to get worried, because it'd been two hours since I got off the phone with Kaia, and she said she was coming home. Sirens were faintly played in the background, until they got louder and louder as they sped by the house. I opened up the emergency nearby app, and it had 'car accident in Falls Creek' (idk lmao) I searched up Falls Creek Mountains and the view was almost exactly like Kaia's view she showed us when she was at her run-away destination. "Mum, Mum!" I shout searching the house for her. She was in the kitchen sipping coffee, "hm?" She said looking up. "I think the car accident involves Kaia, let's go!" I said as Ashton jumped in the car then Mum and I. "Where are we going?" She hesitantly asked. "Don't ask," I smiled as I put directions on to the scene.
We got there, and there was a drunk driver being pushed into a cop car. He looked kinda like Hunter, but it can't be. Then I look over to just in front of the car, laid the body I dreaded every second to see, Kaia's. "Excuse me sir, you're not meant to be here" the officer said sternly looking at me. "Sir, you don't understand - I'm her brother!" I shout crying. "Okay, I guess you and family can stay on the scene. Don't touch anything otherwise" I nodded.
