Melanie's P.O.V
I paced around nervously, the voices in my head going absolutely crazy.
"Melanie are you ready to do this?" "You could just kill him! Don't kill us,"
I stomped my foot to silence them.
"Voices please be quiet. I know what I am doing."
I've been wanting to do this since the moment I discovered him. I wanted to triple my insanity, to make him seem sane. I would rule Gotham for as long as I could. I would do whatever I needed to. I looked down into the vat of my future, the green, booger like liquid bubbling at the surface. All I had to do was jump.
It was only about half past 11, and I wanted to surprise him. I wanted to render him speechless, so I did the only thing I could. I let myself fall farther and farther over the deep trench, and into the future.
Jokers P.O.V
"Harley dear have you learned your lesson?" I asked her limp and unresponsive body. "I'll take your silence as a yes." I roughly threw her into her room, and locked the door behind me. This would teach her to never ask the enemy for help, but at this point I suppose it didn't matter, seeing how the enemy is now becoming my new pet.
I checked my watch, "11:30". I grinned and let out a huge laugh. Finallllyy. I could see a girl change voluntarily, but something about this time felt different. This wouldn't be like Harley, who obeyed my beck and call, this would be a partner, someone to share the fun of killing people, to share my devious plans, and to share my riches.
"Frost! I'm heading out, I'll be back later this evening. Harley is under house arrest tonight."
"Whatever you say boss."
I exited the decrepit mansion I called home, to go have some fun with my new shiny toy. I was looking forward to have a business partner of such a stature, but in the end she'd end up dead. I wasn't planning on keeping her. Why would I? She was only getting me back on the scene and then poof! She doesn't exist anymore.
Melanie's P.O.V
I climbed from the toxic waste, my skin burning as it hit the cold, ridged air. I walked along the walls until I found some kind of steal to resemble a mirror.
I stared at myself unaware of the person in front of me. My skin was now pale and shimmering, like the light on a fresh fallen snow, and my features more defined. My cheekbones as sharp as my razors, my curves now extremely noticeable, but what caught me the most, was the change in my eyes. They had gone from a luscious dark and rich brown, to an icy electric blue. I brought a hand up to my face, shocked at my transformation. Who would I call this new person in front of me, my second life had officially begun and Melanie was gone. Soon a satanic smile lept onto my face. This is exactly what I had wanted. I wanted to wow him, and this was the way to do it. Step one of my master plan was officially complete. I wasn't the queen anymore. I was la Reyna de la Luna. The queen of the moon. Soon to fight next to the clown prince of crime.
I inched my way through the rows of waste, trying to find a decent place to prepare myself for his arrival. I had a whole outfit picked out, it was a black crop top with metallic blue vine designs etched into the seeming, and a powder blue skirt, and knee high boots. My lips were now a lavender/grape purple and my eyeshadow was a view of the galaxy. I also came packing with my shoulder holster and my whips(outfit at the top), I didn't trust him yet, and I probably never would. I viewed myself again, full length dressed and my
now pale skin made my powder blue hair spring to life, appearing as if my hair were set a flame.
I froze in my tracks as I heard the heavy metal track of the warehouse door begin to creak and quiver. It was now or never. It was show time.
