CHAPTER 2
I felt two arms being wrapped around my body and gently lifting me up. They hugged me and held me close while I sobbed uncontrollably. When my eyes finally dried up, I looked into Jason's brown eyes.
"I'm so, so sorry Cassie. I wish I could change this, but I can't. I'm so sorry"
I wiped my eyes.
"W-Where is she?"
Jason pulled me into another hug and whispered into my ear.
"They rushed her to the hospital as soon as they got here, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do. She's gone Cassie."
I already knew she hadn't survived, but hearing these words still triggered something inside of me. I pushed Jason away and grabbed the closest thing possible. I lifted up the glass vase and screamed, throwing it onto the floor.
"WHO DID THIS! JASON, I DEMAND TO KNOW WHO DID THIS! THAT MOTHERFUCKERS GONNA PAY!"
I grabbed another vase and hurled it at the wall. When I turned around I saw Jason coming towards me, but hesitantly, out of fright.
"Oh my God Jason I'm so sorry!"
I fell to the floor and just layed there, mentally kicking myself for being such an asshole. Jason layed down to, right beside me. He held me close the whole time I was crying.
When I finally managed to stop I sat up and looked at Jason.
"What was I doing when they took her away?"
"You were an emotional mess, just lying on the floor screaming and crying. You refused to go to the hospital with them, you refused to believe the fact that your mom was, you know, yeah..."
Jason cleared his throat.
"So one of the parademics stayed here with you till I came."
I looked away from Jason, ashamed he had to see me like that. I can't imagine how much trouble I must have been.
Suddenly, I remembered the murderer, the guy that killed my mother.
"Ya know, I wasn't kidding when I said that motherfucker was gonna pay. I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure I avenge my mother, even if it means I die trying."

heeeeeeey so I know this chapter is really short and I'm sorry for that, but its because its only a filler chapter.
