Shawn and yourself had finally been able to lay down after your 3 year old Anna finally went to sleep.
As your eyes began to flutter closed you felt Shawn's arm move from your waist and then heard shuffling so you turned on the lamp light next to your bedside table only to find Anna laying down between you two.
While Shawn was fast asleep.
"What's wrong baby?" You ask her in a whispered tone,trying not to wake up Shawn.
"I can't sleep." She replies in the same tone.
"Can daddy sing to me?" She asks and I look over at a sound asleep Shawn so I shake my head sideways causing her to frown.
"I'm sorry princess but your daddy's already asleep. You know how tired he's been the past few days." You say and she sighs.
"But you can still sleep with us." You offer and she nods her head before cuddling into you so you turn around to turn off your light only for the other one on Shawn's side to turn on.
"Can't sleep?" Shawn's raspy voice asks his daughter.
"No." She mumbles and Shawn looks at her with sadness in his eyes.
"What song?" He asks and your daughters head looks up at you causing Shawn to look at you as well.
"Kid in love?" I suggest and he smiles before he starts.

When he finishes your daughter is sound asleep and you look up to see Shawn staring at you.
"What?" You ask him with a slight chuckle and he shrugs before answering.
"Your just so beautiful." He replies and you shake your head sideways as a smile appears on your face.
"Goodnight." You say but he doesn't turn off the light.
"Your forgetting something." He tells you which caused you to look at him confused.
"What?" You ask.
"I love-" He says giving you a hint before he stops talking and you roll your eyes playfully before saying,
"I love you."
I love you too." He says before leaning closer to you,sharing a short yet sweet kiss with you then Shawn turns to switch off the light and before you know it you pass out.
