Leo walked through the hallway of Mount Olympus, trying to look confident-or as confident as possible for a repair boy whose only love... sort of... was an immortal girl stuck on an island for all eternity, unless he could do something about that.

He glanced at his friends, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel. Together they had saved the world. Together they'd survived a whole bunch of things.

And now, the gods were going to grant them each one request. And Leo knew exactly what his would be.

"Leo Valdez," his father, Hephaestus, called from his throne. "What do you wish for us to give you."

Leo swallowed, and cleared his throat. "I want Calypso to be freed from her island, and to come and live with me."

It seemed like everyone in the room was staring at him. Well, Leo thought, it wasn't the kind of request they'd probably been expecting.

"May I ask why?"

Leo wasn't quite sure how to answer that. "Eh..."

"Fine, I will not. Very well. Go, and bring her with you. She is now freed." He snapped his fingers.

Well, that was easy. Leo bowed, thanked his father, and walked out of the room.

Calypso was not expecting a large boat with the dragon to come ashore.

She walked over to the edge of the island, where it was docked, and saw a short, curly-haired figure waving to her.

Could it be...?

No. Impossible. One never came to Ogygia twice. She was merely imagining things. But if it was him...

She was setting herself up for disappointment, she knew that. But his face was permanently etched in her memory, his smile, his hair, his laugh.

Even his height (or lack thereof) she found endearing.

The person disembarked, running forward. "Calypso!"

His voice. Was she hallucinating? That was the only logical explanation.

"Leo? Is it truly you?" she called.

"Yes! It's me! Calypso, you're free!" Leo ran forward, stopping in front of her. "You're free. You can come and live with me now."

She stared at him, incredulous. "What?"

"I saved the world-well, contributed to it. And as my reward, I asked for your freedom."

"Why?" she asked. No one had ever done something like this for her. Leo could have asked for anything; immortality, wealth, whatever, but instead, he'd chosen her.

"Do you really need to ask that?" he said, lifting her face with his hand. He smiled gently at her.

As a response, she threw her arms around him, and closed her eyes. This was unthinkable-yet it had to be true. It wasn't a dream, she could always tell if it was. Still, to make sure, she pinched herself on the arm.

"Ouch," she said.

"What?" Leo asked, pulling back a bit and looking at her, concerned.

"Oh. Nothing."

He laughed, and caught her hand. "Come on. We should leave now. Is there anything you want to bring with you?"

She glanced back at the cave, and at what had been her home for the past millennia. She'd worked so hard to make it comfortable.

"No," she said. "Let's leave."

Leo beamed at her, and led her to the ship.

"This is going to be amazing. You'll see. And you'll be able to adjust just fine."

Yes, she thought. It is. Apart from getting used to it all...

Ah, what was she worrying about? She'd have no problem at all.
