Dissatisfaction or....

"The winner of the meet up IS... KIARA! I can't wait to meet you! I will be contacting you soon to set it up! And RaeAnn I will be contacting you to set up out Skype meeting." I sigh. I mean getting the Skype call is WAY better than a signed picture but I really wanted to meet him in person. I shut my computer laying in be. I guess I shouldn't be ungrateful. I mean at least it's an amazing winning. I fall asleep thinking about what it would be like to meet him.

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
I groan looking at my phone. Can't I NOT go to class today? I rip the sheets off. Not even caring today! I switch to a less wrinkled shirt and put my hair up. Done! I collect my things walking downstairs to breakfast. At least it's Friday! I smile at my mom. "I think I'm going to get a Starbucks coffee instead of staying here!" She nods making pancakes. "Have a good day!" I get in my car and head to Starbucks. I park my car looking in my mirror. I look less than impressive today! I walk in ordering my drink. I'm up so early there's no line! I thank the woman handing me my coffee and sit to relax for a moment. I check my Twitter and scroll through my few notifications. "YOU GOT A SKYPE CALL WITH COLLINS?" One of my subscribers Erica tweeted me. I groaned throwing my head back. I totally forgot my subscribers would know before I uploaded my video. I guess I'll just have to film a short clip or cut everything out and make that it's own video. I nod deciding on the new video idea. I tweet out.
Hey everyone! Yes I entered into a @collinskey contest. I did not with the meeting but I got the Skype date! How exciting is that? Hope to talk to you about it in an upcoming video!! 😘😘

I press send and stand up to leave. I pull out and start heading to class. I turn my music up loud and start jamming out. I needed a wake me up. I pull into the university after what felt like a thousand stoplights. I look around and the parking lot is vacant. What? I look up the university page and to my classes.
All classes have been canceled on 12/05 due to unpredictable weather. Please look your classes up online to insure you have no assignments due. Classes will resume on 12/06.

I groan screaming a little. Just my luck huh? As of today couldn't get any worse. I drive over a half an hour back home walking in slamming the door. No one seems to be home. I walk upstairs to see my brother is asleep still. I walk down the hall to my room shutting the door. I start to edit the video I filmed yesterday. I cut out all of the contest stuff out and start to play it again. I listen to it fixing the small mistakes. I grab my phone and read the mentions I'm getting.

I stare at the screen. What? Is that? No it can't be! @collinskey. I gasp but start to cough. I laugh at myself. I race to my email to check it. Dang password! Go I'm correctly! I get in scrolling down. @collinskeymanagmentteam. I open the email.

Hey RaeAnn! I look forward to our Skype "date" as you call it! Please email me back with a time that's good for you and your Skype name! I hope to hear from you really soon about this! I am really looking forward to it! Oh and by the way nice YouTube videos.
I scream. I scream so loud my brother burst in the room. I tell him I'm fine and jump around. I can't believe he's seen my videos! No way! And he is 'looking forward to it'. I sit down and try to catch my breath. I re-read the email over and over. That's him! I calm down enough that I email him back.

I lay back in bed grinning from ear to ear. Wow I can't believe in a few days I will get to have a personal time with Collins and Devan. I slow my breathing dowm the best I can. I convince myself to try for some rest. I close my eyes looking for sleep. It finally finds me and takes over. A late morning nap is just what i need.

I wake up unsure if that was all real. I open my laptop and smile at the screen. IT WAS REAL! I check to see of he maybe messaged me back yet. I sigh when i see he hasn't. I search through all the other emails delete the spam and read through the buisness inquiry ones. It seems like Collins video gave me a huge boost in deals! I upload my video and wait for comments. I reply to a few and delete the spam ones. I watch as the viewer count rises more than ever! Wow! 3000 already? The most I've had before is 800. And that's on a video that's been up for almost a year. It's still climbing. I watch in amazment. I scroll down and the first few comments are saying how lucky I am. Then there's the hate ones.

I am shocked! All I did was win a contest. It was all fair. I had just the same amount of chance as anyone else. I close my laptop. Maybe winning this wasn't the best thing for me. Maybe I should tell him to pick another person? What if he knew i was a youtuber and gave it to me. I sigh not knowing how.to really feel or act. What should I do?
