Of course. Of course I'm ready to talk. I've been waiting almost ten minutes at this point.

Dad finds a spot to lean up onto the counter.

"Last night after you came down to speak to us about meeting Collins we sat down and talked about it." Mom tries to choose her words wisely. Dad sees her struggling with this speech and steps in.

"Originally I was not comfortable sending you to another state, alone, especially Texas. Its such a large state and you have not been many places with us. And no where alone!"

Mom breaks in. "We discussed your maturity and how you've handled this situation. We looked the brothers up online and they seem to be a great duo. They never have been in any trouble. You have always made us very proud. From playing sports when you were younger to excelling in school now. And even more so now with your YouTube career. You handled the hateful comments with so much grace. Your dad and i both agree..." They look at each other and back to me. "We agree you are responsible enough to travel alone to Texas to meet Collins."

I feel excitement bubbling inside. I contain it the best I can, but the biggest grin creeps onto my face. I jump up and bear hug them both.

"Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!"

'You will have some rules though. You must call us before boarding the plane and after you get off so we know you made it safely. Also we will not make it a rule but it would be nice to hear from you during your trip. Just so we know you're having fun. You are 19 and we will respect that you are legally an adult. And we appreciate your honesty and openness with us about your life."
