(YOUR P.O.V)"Bye (y/n)!"
"We'll miss you!"
"Stay safe!"
"Can your bring me food when you get back?!"
"Hoodie bring me a leaf from the tree!"
"Get back soon Toby!"
"You guys got this!"A smile crept on my face standing next to the mansion doors with Hoodie and Toby.
Everyone was saying their farewells and that honestly felt great.
While Hoodie leaned against the door cross armed, Ticci Toby searched through his bag for something and me?
I ran to my friends and hugged them tightly each and every last one of them.
But when it came to Jeff, I was a little hesitant.
He scooped me up in a bear hug making me laugh and then whispered in my ear which sent tingles up and down my spin and all around.
"I have a surprise for ya when you get back..."
He put me down with a smirk leaving me there giggling on the inside but dumfounded on the outside once more.
Suddenly a felt a tap on the shoulder, "come on cherry face we gotta go."
It was Toby he was smiling from under is metal smile I could just feel it.
Cherry face? SHIT AM I BLUSHING?"Okay..." I walked with Toby back to the door before glancing back at Jeff.
His hands were shoved in his pants pockets before he turned to the crowd and disappeared within it.
Feeling my face grow warmer by the second Toby grabbed his stuff and hauled it over his shoulder before opening the door.
Everyone else kept saying their farewells as Toby let me walk out first then Hoodie then himself.
Gentleman much...
I chuckled to myself as my feet crunched in the leaves below them.
The thick bare woods welcomed my eyes with open arms of an skinny old woman that was ready to eat children.
But to me? That old woman bakes us pies and gives us things to explore at night.
I stood there and from the woods a tall familiar man approached me.
"Hi Slenderman, came to tell us goodbye too?"
Slenderman chuckled as he towered over me.
"Of course (y/n), I couldn't miss saying goodbye to my favorite Proxy."
My smile grew wider than Jeffs and I looked back at Toby and Hoodie, "Did you hear that? I'm his favorite Proxy!"
"PFFFT what ever! I'm his most favorite!" Toby argued smiling and rushing up next to me.
Hoodie didn't say anything and from under that black sock I could feel him just rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"I appreciate all three of you, especially for doing this for your friend Masky. I wish the best of luck to you, and Toby?"
"Sir?"
"Don't forget, don't pluck the black leaves of the Katana, only the purple ones." Slendemans cheek bones raised signaling me he was smiling.
"Yes sir!" Toby saluted and adjusted his backpack once more before looking at me with smiling eyes. "Ready?"
"Hell yea!" I turned back toward the mansion and cupped my hands around my mouth in a O shape.
"DONT WORRY MASKY! WE'LL SAVE YOU!!!"
Hoodie walked past me aggressively bumping his shoulder into mine.
" god (y/n)...you're so fucking loud..." He muttered as he walked past.
I gave him a look of disgust as he walked past but shook it off when Toby nudged my head and guided me past Slenderman.
"Bye Slenderman!"I waved back at him.
"See you soon!" He called back before opening a portal in front of us to the border to Canada.
The three of us jumped through and on the otherside was a twisted alien like world unseen to man. There was a small bridge leading to a dark forest that seemed to go somewhat down hill Into the coast line of Canada, off the coast line I could see what humans would call Jupiter and beyond that was pretty hard to
Make out.
I glanced behind one more time and just then Slenderman gradually closed the Aurora like portal and with that...we were alone.
It was silent besides the distance calls and howls of unknown creatures and steady chirps of Crickets.
"So which way?" I asked looking toward Toby.
"The obvious way of course...The bridge." He chuckled before he stepped onto the bridge which made a creaking sound as he went.
His hatchets clanked along his backpack as they swayed into it.
This wasn't all that scary..but it was scary enough to form a lump in my throat as I pressed my foot onto the bridge making it moan lowly.
I didn't Notice it at first but hoodie was way ahead of us.
I quickly stepped to where Toby was and stared at Hoodie.
"Does he even know where he's going?"
Toby just chuckled, "of course not....really none of us do."
"Wait what...I thought you knew all the shortcuts and stuff...."
"I do...but this is a special forest (y/n), it chooses each and everyone persons fate that steps into it...Its almost the exact opposite of Mother Nature...matter in fact I like to call this forest Little brother Nature...what ever he says goes...he plays with what he wishes and he breaks of what he wishes."
When Toby spoke those words the lump in my throat grew even bigger.
"What's our fate?"
Toby was silent for a while and matter in fact didn't answer until we were close to the decline of the forest.
"We will soon find out....." At the decline Hoodie waited for us, he just stared out Into the distance until we caught up with him.
Toby and I looked past him to see what he was watching.
Right then...in the distance there was a large landscape of thicker forests, rivers, death valleys, Creatures of blue and purple flew above the valleys.
Larger creatures lurked in lagoons and beyond that mountains, cliffs, canyons.
I was stunned, at the Beauty...the horror.
My heart sank and split into.
"One...how are we suppose to find the Katana through all of this? 2...how do we even survive?" I spoke with a squeak once I got my courage back.
"Like I said...we will soon find out..." Toby's voice smoothed into my ears, but his confidence dropped this time.
"Hey! Look beyond the mountains! Something is glowing! Do you see it?" Hoodie spoke up pointing as he did so.
I leaned in a little closer and squinted my eyes for a better look.
And to my surprise he was right, a faint purple light glimmered beyond the mountains. Within the light, a black object rested.
"Is that the tree?"
"yeah it is!" Toby's voice regained a small fragment of hope and sparked with glee.
I almost jumped with glee before tightening my backpack. "Come on! We only have a few weeks to get there!" I squealed about to run right down the decline before Toby grabbed me by the backpack.
"(Y/n)! Shh....there things here...things we can't fight off if they know we're here...lets hope our fate as nothing to do with them...so lay low..."
I mouthed ok as Toby turned to his left down a much less steep decline and hiked down to the deep dark forests below with Hoodie and I close behind. What awaited us within this maze of Twisted nature was unknown to me, in reality everything was unknown to all of us.
The place wasn't that scary...the real scary part...is...our destiny as just begun and is still being written....
