10. Like an six-year-old before his first day of school [Harry]
Two days earlier I had my - for now - last concert of my UK Tour. Now, I had one month "off" and I was going to meet Louis the next day. Since we decided on a date I was hyperactive.
When we were chatting I was flirting like mad but in "real life"? That's a whole different thing. I was way more outgoing and "brave" when I was writing and I'd more likely take the first step, if you can call it a "first step" when you're chatting. Nevertheless I was super nervous on the inside. Luckily Louis couldn't see me hopping around fidgety when we were "flirting" again and I was waiting for his answer.
That was my biggest fear aboit the date. I was so unbelievably nervous!
I was walking through my house fidgety the whole day, was tidying up and putting things away and so on.
Even though Louis wouldn't come till the next day... I know.. That's my logic.
I put clean sheets on the bed in the guest room, tidied up my room, the living room, the bathroom and the kitchen, which took some time. But it was only 4 o' clock in the afternoon.
My thoughts of what to do next were interupted by my phone which was ringing. The display read "Niall"
Niall was a singer like me, even if he wasn't as famous. But since we redorded a song together and got along very well, we hung out together sometimes when both of us were free which isn't very often. But I was on tour the last weeks so we didn't hang out.
Apparently this was a "reason" for Niall to invite himself to my house, which I figured out through our phone conversation.
But I didn't care 'cause I needed som sort of distraction and Niall was a bit thick so he wouldn't notice if I would behave a little bit strange. Or he just doesn't let it on.
But on the other hand, I'd have to hide the sweets and crisps I bought for Louis and I's date. Or else Niall would eat it all! So I took the food I bought from the cupboard and hid it under my bed. But I opened two packs of crisps and put them into a bowl. I'd need to sacrifice these...
A good hour after his phone call Niall came and we ended up on the sofa - like every time when Niall came - with a bowl of crisps, playing FIFA.
It was useless to play this game against Niall because I'm always losing .. Every single time. For one: Because I'm poor at playing it and Second: Niall's just too good.
After two games the crisps bowl was nearly empty and I didn't eat one crisp. Like I said, Niall seemed to not notice my anxiety, even though I nearly jumped up and down ob the couch and played even "poorer" - I know that's not a word - than other times, if that's humanely possible.
But I just had no talent for FIFA, I bet every girl would be better than me!
And it wasn't even a good distraction, because I had to think of Louis every time I did something which had something to do with football because ... you know ... he plays football.
I've gone crazy. Completely. Or in other words:
I was head over heels in love.
At about 9 pm Niall left after he nearly ate everything in my fridge... I watched some TV series and then went to bed around 11 o' clock to be "in shape" for our movie night the next day.
Even though I was tired, I couldn't fall asleep for a long time because I was so excited and nervous.
I felt like a six - year - old on the evening before his first day of school.
