Chapter 1: Shipped From Hoenn
"Wake up Todd" My mother murmurred as she tapped me on my shoulder. "We're at our new house!" she said exitedly as our moving truck pulled up the drive.
"I don't like it here, it seems like it'll never stop raining" I muttered as I stepped out of the passenger side of the truck into the cold, wet air that quickly enveloped me in its unforgiving temperature. The moment that my foot hit the ground, I knew that this place would never be home to me.
"If we hadn't moved away from Petalburg when we did, it would have been ten times worse than this" she remarked as she walked into the house.
I then saw a teenager in a purple hoodie with a pin that looked like a pokeball on the upper left corner of his chest. I'm not sure of the gender or age of this person but I assumed that he was a teenage boy because of the way he slunk down the street, also because when he passed me, he said "what's up" in a tone that was surely male. As he walked away with his Kirlia that was silver in color, I saw that on the back of his hoodie, there was a pattern resembling a rose. As I stared at him walking away, I wondered why he had a picture of a rose on his back.
"Stop staring at the neighbor and get in here before you catch a cold!" My mother exclaimed as she pushed me into our new hom--...house.
