Chapter 7

Vanitas's P.o.v: I rolled my eyes at Loki and looked back over at Lily and Tessa.

"Here. This belongs to you."

I said handing Tessa her contract.

Loki's P.o.v: I hated this kid. He was only a child still. He had no way of understanding Tessa...

"Well... I can see my work here is done."

I said turning away from the crowd. My eyes closed... I would always hold Tessa in my heart.. Even if she's already replaced me in hers.

"Fair well Tessa.. Lilith try to stay out of trouble."

I said turning into thin air.

"Of course."

My chuckle rang in the air, but soon I was already back in my side of the universe... Alone.

Tessa's P.o.v: I didn't have any words for Vanitas. The contract was right in front of me. I took the paper from him and hugged him once more.

"Thanks Vanitas."

I said holding him tightly. He smiled and hugged me back. I turned and saw Loki was nowhere to be found. I gave a sigh, then Vanitas placed a hand on my shoulder. We let go of each other.

"I don't get why Loki was here in the first place."

I said looking over at Shadow and petting her and giving her love. She neighed at me then I looked back at Vanitas.

"Anyway. I think I know what I'm going to do with this."

I said with the contract in my hands. I placed a fireball in my left hand and placed the paper into the fire. All was left of my contract were ashes. I sighed in relief and felt a huge weight on my chest go away. Then I hugged Lily once more. She was tearing up as she kissed my forehead.

Then Vanitas grabbed my hand and smiled.

"Now, I have something I've been wanting to do for a while."

Then Vanitas got down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?"

He said holding out a small ring box. Then out of nowhere Vanitas was pinned against a tree.

"Loki!?!"

Loki's P.o.v: "Tessa... I can't let you consider this poor fool's purposal."

I said not letting my gaze fade from his.

"Loki?!?! WTF MAN!?! you can't just poof away, then magically come back."

Vanitas said trying to get out of my grip.

"Vantras? Right? First off I go by my own laws.

Second. You have no right to take her hand."

"I'm sure, I have every right."

He said with a light in his eyes. I growled.

"Loki... You shouldn't be doing-"

"Lilith, you know exactly why I came back."

I said turning my head to her.

Her gaze was now upon the ground.

"Loki enough.. Let him go."

I turned my attention to Tessa. Our eyes locked.

"As they lady commands."

Vanitas's P.o.v: I brushed myself off and growled at Loki.

"Okay playboy, first my name is VANITAS. Secondly I already asked her. She loves me more."

I said smiling at Tessa.

"I.. Never said I didn't love anyone unequally.."

She said walking to the shoreway. Her sister followed as did Shadow and Brie.

Tessa's P.o.v: I sighed and didn't look at Vanitas and Loki.
