His arm shows something you didn't expect. It's new, terrifying for sure. It's black and scary. Yes, the death eater sign was there, on his lower arm. He had the sign. Your jaw drops lightly and you look up at him. You don't want to look disappointed, but you know you actually do. You're not able to bring out a single word.
"You're disappointed, aren't you? You didn't expect it, huh?" he asks, and he looks deep into your eyes. You shake your head.
"I-I didn't..." you whisper and you look down. You are worried and not even a little bit. You wouldn't want him to get hurt! And now, he's an official follower from The Dark Lord, and he's acting like it's nothing, just normal! You keep looking sad. "Draco... I-I" he stops you.
"I know.. I know, let me guess. You don't want me to get hurt. You care about me a lot and you wouldn't be happy if The Dark Lord would kill me, or anything close to that. Am I right?" He asks, and all you can do is nod.
"Well, I didn't have a choice. My parents wanted me to do it" He whispers now. You slowly nod. "But don't tell anyone! I promised to keep it a secret. I don't know what's going to happen if.. they find out... that I told you...." He adds and takes your hands. You start blushing slightly.
"Just... Make sure to be very careful... I wouldn't forgive myself if something awful would happen to you..." You look down at his and your hand. He's still holding it.
"I promise you" He puts his finger under your chin lifts your head up. "Don't worry" He smiles slightly. This one smile... The one you missed... It feels good to see his eyes and feel his skin against yours. Maybe it actually is possible for him and you to be more than just friends in the future...
