It's already fifth period and neither groups have made any move towards each other.
FRAGZS because, frankly, they don't give a crap, and the boys, well, they don't quite know the girls exist yet.
But what FRAGZS don't know can't hurt them, right?
It was the last lesson of the day, and the bell rang, the students' cue to rush out of their classrooms for no particular reason.
It's a pretty big school, explaining the massive crowds in the corridor. Everyone wanted to get to their lesson as quickly as possible but uh, it's not possible. How can it be when you have people of different race and height blocking the damn way?
So, as I mentioned earlier, or I forgot to mention, these girls are in sixth form. They get a choice of two to five subjects to study for their A Levels. Use Google for the rest of the information.
Abi, of course, was late for Chemistry. Not really a surprise.
Running like mad, she barged into the science lab, where everyone, dressed in white lab coats and goggles, turned to look at her with a 'what the hell' look.
"Sorry I'm late-" Abi began.
"Hurry up, you're already ten minutes late," the teacher interrupted, about to light the Bunsen burner in front of the other students. She knew Abi's ways, and didn't question her now.
Quietly, she donned on the necessary clothing and looked at the demonstration the teacher was carrying out. The teacher had lit a match, and then lit the burner. If there was anything she loved, it was the fire that appeared.
The teacher finished the demo, and the pupils went to their correct places, about to start their own experiments.
Abi wasn't the happiest with her partner. Her name was Crystal, and boy, was she stupid. She could complain about the littlest of things as well.
Maybe if the flame just, you know, caught on her sleeve, Abi thought, eyeing the burner.
She didn't even have to touch the object before suddenly Crystal started jumping around.
"AH! I'M ON FIRE! AAAARRRGGHHH!"
Of course, people actually thought she was overreacting.
Then they actually noticed half her arm on fire. Unfortunately, Crystal was panicking so much that she ended up knocking her head on the door and fell unconscious.
The teacher looked at Abi, then to Crystal.
"Joey, clear this up, will you?" She motioned to her assistant, a guy who was always around in Chemistry lessons, and had an obsession with checkered shirts. Joey dragged the girl out of the classroom, not before lutting out the fire.
"So now you don't have a partner," the teacher said to Abi. She brought a boy over, who had been observing what was going on. "You can have Namjoon." The teacher left, and the two were left staring at each other awkwardly.
Ten minutes later, you wouldn't believe your eyes.
"This is so much fun!" Namjoon said, pouring chemicals into a beaker. Everyone else was staring at them cautiously.
"I know!" exclaimed Abi, getting some more chemicals. The teacher wasn't around. Probably in the storage closet with Joey.
"Wait... is it meant to bubble like that?" asked Namjoon, uncertainty clouding his face.
"I don't think so..."
BOOM.
