Your alarm went off like any other. You got ready for school like any other. When you got to school you chatted with friends like any other. It's was normal. The same routine. Everyday. You wake up, go to school, go to work, sleep, repeat. Even on the weekends, cause of work you seem to miss a lot to you get all the help you can. You sit next to Light again. He doesn't seem to have many friends so you consider yourself his friend. You've only been friends with the guy for two years.
"Hey, (y/n). You look tired. Did dad have you up late?"
"You could say that", you shrug.
~Light's POV~
Her eyes wore a tiring look of confusion. This Kira case and that L person has been on her mind. What has she been doing? She didn't even brush her hair well. Which means she's distracted.
"You work to hard"
"No, I don't. Your father does"
"He's not the one tackling school and being a detective"
"No, but he is chief of police."
"I know that". A sigh escapes my lips. As I look over at her. Something pops into my mind. Something I shouldn't be thinking. I want her. I want (y/n) to myself. That seems so lutacris (what even is that word) of me to say. Ugh! I look back at my things to distract myself and somehow I manage as class begins. I try to lose my self in school but, not even that helps. Even when I go home, the death note is the only thing that helps.
~Your POV~
The whole day. You swear Light keeps staring at you. You begin to wonder what he'll think about the broadcast. Will he think it's a joke or that it's actually serious. He can't take a joke as it is, so hell be serious about it. You don't pay attention to class, your distracted.
