Caleb's Pov

Things have been different since Maddie and I mated fully, But a good different. I can honestly say I love her to death. I would do anything for her, her in my life makes me and my wolf so happy. Maddie, She is my world, with her beautiful blonde hair, the big blue eyes, and her entire body, oh just thinking about it makes me what her so badly. ' Calm down Caleb' My wolf said, I shake my head, then walk up to Maddie and mines room, I open the door to see Maddie in the hands off someone else, that really set me off, but that someone else was Jacob, he had his hand over her mouth with a knife under her throat.

My wolf goes full protectiveness. " Let. her. go!" I said making sure he understands every word. I mind linked all the guards to surround down by my window, and to come up into our room. I watched as my mates face had pain, fear, and worried all over. It was making me want to grab her and pull her into a hug, and tell her that everything is going to be ok.

" Hmmm, I think not, why shouldn't I just kill her right here, right now?, making it slow and painful, just like you did with my mate!" He will not! and I mean not! hurt her, but I can tell by the look on her face that he was already hurting her. It's killing me. " You know, you have a pretty little mate, and I would hate if I had to do something horrible to her" he said moving his hand that was covering her mouth down to her thigh, then to her butt, and that making her gasp. NO ONE IS ALOUD TO TOUCH MY MATE BUT ME!! I let out a loud growl, " DON'T TOUCH HER!" I start to walk toward her until he bring the knife closer to her neck

" I wouldn't do that if I was you" he said I stop right in my track. I look at her as I can see pain in her eyes. Don't worry, I will get you, I thought to my self, I just got to think of a plan.

'I need all you guys to help me think of a plan, nobody is going to hurt my mate and your Luna.' I said mind linking the pack. I suddenly hear a bunch of growls and my pack walking into my room walking closer and closer in to our room. I watch them as they feel up the room then I suddenly hear a screech I look over at Maddie and see blood coming out from her neck. I let out a loud growl before I run over to him and jump on him before he could hurt Maddie, she goes over to the bed and watching as Josie and Charity run over to her. I look back down to see nobody, HE WAS JUST HERE!!!? I look over at the window and see him jumping out. Ha! You ain't getting away.

I run over to Maddie, them exam her neck, it's not deep to wear he cut her air pipe but I still need her checked out. I pick her up bridal style them walk down to the pack doctor as fast as I could.

" Alpha! Is everything alright?" Ruby the pack doctor asked, I shake me head and look down at Maddie " Oh my, come on let's go check it out, but it don't look to bad" That was the best words ever to hear. I was just about to follow Ruby in the room until someone yelled my name I looked up and saw Troy, a young pack member, he has brown hair and blue eyes, he is a handsome boy. NO, I'm not gay, its just something I say

" What is it Troy" he was huffing hard for breath, he put his finger up at me trying to catch his breath, come on I don't have all day, I have a mate to take care of. He stands up and looks at me

" Jacob, he got away sir, we tried hunting him down but he was to fast, I'm sorry sir" he ESCAPED!!!! UUUGGHHH.

" WHAT! Do you think I want him to hurt my mate again!?" I started pacing back and forth trying to calm down. It wasn't Troys fault. What am I going to do. Wait. I'm going to wait and see what happens next " Sorry Troy, you are dismissed" he bows then walks away. What am I going to do? I walk into the room and see my mate sitting their. I walk over to her and smile.

" OK Luna, this will only hurt a bit" I look over at Ruby and see her holding a needle, Maddie suddenly get's scared. She is scared of needles? I pulled her over to me and whispered in her ear while gesturing Ruby to do it quickly " It's fine, it wont hurt one bit, I promise" I smile at the thought of her not noticing it.

" All done" She looks at Ruby confused

" Wait you already did it? Ruby Nods " Wow" she laughs a bit, then gets up

" Oh wait dear" Ruby says, I look at her as she pulls a patch out, then walks toward Maddie. She puts it over Maddies scratch. She pulls back they says we can leave.

We walk out while my hand it around her waist. I smile knowing that she is safe in my arms, but is she really safe? We walk up our room, but before I do that I mind link Some pack members and ask them to lock up the windows. We walk over to the bed and lay down, sparks go through my body as she lays her tiny head on my chest. I know that Jacob isn't coming back for a while but I got to keep Maddie as safe as I can. She can't leave my sight unless a guard is with her. I love Maddie, but I hope she understands that I'm just doing whats best, I hope she don't hate me for what I'm going to do.

She looks up at me with those beautiful big blue eyes then smiles. " I love you Caleb"

" I love you to" She turns around, then starts to crawl on top of me. She sits up on me then starts to lean down. Her soft lips touch mine, while her hand goes through my hair. My hands move up and down her back while a moan escapes her mouth. I smirk that I made her do that. She pulls away right when it was starting to get good, but that was until she said 5 words that made me happy, knowing that I'm her hero

"Thank you for saving me" I smiled as I gentle kissed her lips

" I would do anything for you. Even if it mean death over life" Her face goes serious. Oh no what did I say?

" What?" she said " You would kill yourself for me?, that's crazy, I would never let you" Oh gosh. I mean of course I would kill myself for her I love her to the point were I would take my life for her to live hers.

" Maddie, please, you know I love you, you would do it for me wouldn't you?" she nods

" Of course I would" See, why is she getting so offended? Is it her time of the month?

" But of course I wouldn't let you" She groans then get's off me

" No Caleb, stop, why are we arguing about this!?" Seriously?

" I would ask you the same question" She looks at me then turns back around. Ok, I just saved her life, now she wants to argue.

" I'm sorry" she said before turning around and walking out of the room. What's wrong with her? I shrugged it off, walking to the bathroom, and giving her some space.

After my long shower, picking something comfy to wear, I wonder where Maddie is, I walk out the bedroom down, then downstairs. I go to the Kitchen, no, Living room, no, theatre, no, where is she!? I start to worry, until I hear sobs, that sound like Maddies, I follow the sobs into a closet. I open the door to see a crying Maddie, I quickly close the door and rush over to her.

" Baby, what's wrong?" she looks at me and I can tell she has been crying for a while now, her nose is all red, so is her eyes.

" I'm sorry, I'm a bad mate" What is she talking about? She is a great mate.

" What, no you are a amazing mate" I truthfully tell her. She turns to look at me

" Really, it's just I feel like I make you mad, by arguing with you, and no yelling fast enough for you to come help me when Jacob came" what! That is not her fault

" That was not your fault, don't take that out on you, please" She leans her head on my shoulder, while her sobs start to disappear.

" Maddie, you are a awesome mate, don't you ever think that you ain't ever again. I love you" I kiss her forehead as she looks at me and smiles

" I love you to"
