Maddie's Pov

5 months later

I'm almost to my due date in my pregnancy, I am scared for labor but mostly scared about the other pack coming to take my baby. We are going to be surprised by the gender of the baby, I honestly did want to know but I know that Caleb wanted it to be a surprise and I'm OK with that.

I'm currently laying in bed thinking about what happened a few months ago with the Blood Wood pack that is trying to take our baby, they found out about me being pregnant, they asked Caleb to come into our territory and talk about it. I still remember everything

Flashback

2 months back

Caleb has been working all day long, he has been checking on me every half an hour to make sure I was ok, he had Josie come and watch after me while he was doing pack business. I got up from the bed to go to the restroom, I have been using the restroom so much lately, I guess that's a side effect of being pregnant. Just as I was washing my hands I started to smell Calebs sent around, soon the door was slammed open, I turned around to face Caleb looking at me, he grabbed my arm and started pulling me out of the bathroom

" Whats wrong Caleb?" I tried asking but he ignored me " Caleb, tell me whats wrong!?" I asked once more, he didn't respond, I signed in frustration. We arrived in his office, he walked over behind his desk and started walking back and forth, it was really irritating cause he wouldn't tell me whats wrong, normally I would let him tell me by himself, but I really wanted to know. I walked over to him, I put my hands on his shoulders and looked at him carefully

" I want you to tell me what is wrong" I say. He just stares at me, he signs before sitting down, he moved me over so I was on his lap, he kissed my cheek before staring back at me

" They know, the Blood Moon pack, they know that your pregnant, so they want to come by and talk about when they are coming to get it when it is here" my eyes were swelling up with tears, this can not really be happening, I don't even know how they found out, unless someone from the pack betrayed us, I leaned into Caleb, he wrapped his arms around me

" When are they coming?" I asked, I hope it wasn't soon, I was really hoping they would forget all about this dumb deal

" In 2 hours" I nearly lost my breath, no way can this be true. They can't just take our baby away from us. I got up from Calebs lap and started making my way to the door, just as I was about to open it Caleb caught my arm

" Please don't walk away from me" he said, turning me around "Everything will be ok, I promise" I nodded at him, he wiped away a tear with his thumb before walking us out of the office

"There here Alpha" Mike says to Caleb, we have been wrapped up on our bed for the past two hours while we waited for Alpha Cole to arrive, we both get up from the bed and head toward the door, we walk out front to see him standing there with a few pack members, the one on his right must be his beta, I can feel power coming off of him.

" This must be the Luna who is holding out new addition to our pack" Alpha Cole says, I can feel Caleb tense but fight his wolf back from coming out

" Please come in and we can discuss things" Caleb says. We all walked up to Calebs office, once we reached there we all took a seat, I sat next to Caleb and Alpha Cole and his beta sat in front of us.
