A Nightmare on Elm Street Poem (Poems based on scary movies as well)

Insidious

FYI this story = major spoilers and i would suggest watching the movie beforehand but anyway enjoy,vote, comment, read, etc. XD <3.

Insidious Poem

A family of 5 move into a house,

3 children, a husband and his spouse.

It was a normal morning until Renai said,

"Josh go get Dalton, get him out of his bed."

But when he spoke to the child he did not awaken

He shook him and called his name.

They brought Dalton to a hospital still clearly shaken,

The doctor said all his brain function was the same,

there was no reason he wasn't responding when they called his name.

3 months later, Dalton still fast asleep,

not a single word they had gotten from him not even a peep.

Renai sat at her piano with no one at home

Other then Dalton and the baby she was all alone.

A voice came on the baby monitor,

It was very hushed, more like a shallow whisper.

All it said was "give it too me, I want it."

"I want it NOW!" the shallow voice boomed,

alarmed she ran up to the baby's room.

She tells josh what she has been witnessing,

He simply dismisses all she is saying.

Days after she finds a bloody handprint on Daltons sheet

It rested in the area close to his feet.

After she showed Josh they switched homes

Hoping the spectors would leave them alone.

Though when they moved their troubles didn't cease,

If anything their problems increased

.

Finally sick of it she called in Elise,

A medium whom they hoped would help them in their time of need.

When she walked in she knew what was going on,

Dalton wasn't asleep, but e was pretty far gone.

He was an astral projector, his soul traveled while he slept,

But he didn't leave his body well kept.

He traveled too far and couldn't come home,

Into the further he traveled he was all alone.

A demon was after his body he wanted it to cause suffering

Josh was too an astral projector as it seemed

He had to go find Dalton and escape from his dream.

Josh traveled into the further to find his son,

He got rather scared and he started to run.

He found Dalton in the lair of the demon,

At the moment Dalton couldn't see him.

Dalton was chained to the floor,

Josh helped him up and ran to the door.

The demon caught sight and started to follow,

hordes of ghosts stood in their way,

their hands grabbing eagerly at their prey.

They ran and ran until they got home,

They knew they were not all alone.

They ran to find their bodies and soon awoke,

Dalton and Josh were home safe and sound.

Elise talked to Dalton, they chatted with ease,

until Elise noticed something and started to scream.

Josh grabbed her throat and strangled her quickly,

Renai heard a noise and responded quickly.

Elise had taken a picture which had caused he to see

Josh wasn't who he seemed to be.

Renai looked at the camera and gasped at what she seen.

It was not her husband, but an old dead woman that showed up on screen.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and a deep voice say,

"I'm right here Renai."
