Author's note:
I think the idea is pretty clear but I'm going to explain it just in case. Basically whatever you write on your skin shows up on your soulmate's skin and fades away when they clean it off.
Dan's pov
Dan was about to give up.
He'd been 7 months clean but he couldn't do it. He'd tried all those stupid techniques like rubbing ice on your wrist and writing words of encouragement on your skin but nothing helped him resist the urge. It was all so overwhelming and he needed to escape reality. The only other way he knew to do that was to read but unfortunately the local library closed down. Just his luck.
Again.
He hated this tingling feeling.
Maybe because of the unfamiliarity of where it was coming from made him despise it.
He looked down to see the address of a nearby coffee house with the time 5 pm scribbled next to it.
Now why in the world would this idiot scribble stuff like this in bold letters on him forearm? But the Dan realized that it might be a way of getting his attention so he decided to go to the coffee house just for the heck of it. It's not like he had anything better to do with his free time from university.
Dan could use a bit of adventure in his life right about now. Like what could go wrong in a meeting a total stranger if they're your soulmate right?
