I didn't know how to add more; now that I do I will use this for the following chapters that I will add :)
Chapter 4
"We have to buy you a really pretty dress if you want to impress John," Destiny instructed as we walked into le chateau.
"Ok but you need one for Adam aswell, you have to look hot too." I excaimed.
We browsed and soon I found two dresses that popped out at me. I tried the green one on first. It was strapless and stopped at my knee caps. I stepped out from behind the black curtain. I twirled a few time while Destiny watched.
"I don't like it. It doesn't really fit your figure good. And it looks a little right up top." I looked at my chest. Yeah, it was pretty small up there.
"Ok I'll try on the next one." I stepped back into the change room.
I slid the black satin (also strapless) dress over my thighs and mid-section. I stepped out.
"I don't like it." I said as soon as I stepped out.
"Agreed," Destiny agreed raising her finger in anticipation.
"Hello can I help with anything?" A salesclerk came over and greeted us.
"Uhm yes, my friend would like to find something that fits her figure and makes her look hot." Destiny declared. I blushed from embarrassment.
"I'll see what I can do."
After a few minutes the lady came back with three more dresses. "I grabbed a size two, and I found some that I thought would make you glow with beauty," she said warmly with a comforting smile of enthusiasm on her lips.
She's good at this I thought to myself.
I tried two of the three on. No can do. Finally I slipped into the very last one. It was a beautiful purple that popped out really well. It had a grey top that stopped just below my chest and it had a dark sequined belt-like thing to keep it secure. The rest down to my knees was a deep stunning purple. It went well with my copper hair, and my pale skin.
"This is it!" I told Destiny with a big smile on my face that stretched from ear to ear.
"We'll take it!" Destiny turned to the salesclerk.
Destiny had decided to try on the dress that I didn't fit me right. It was a beautiful dress. It was bandage wrapped and it gave her an hour glass figure effect. It was dark blue at her chest, and as it flowed down her body it lightened into a sky blue. Both mine and her dresses were strapless.
We had decided to go to Jamie's Jewellery and buy a necklace and some earrings to match our dresses. Next to the Jewellery store, there was a shoe store. I bought purple high heels that had straps that wrapped around my ankle and the top of my feet. Destiny bought navy blue heels that were closed together and had to be zipped up at the back of her heel in the middle of her ankle.
I had a little bit of trouble walking in them, but after ten or so minutes I got the hang of it. I didn't trip over my feet anymore; and I was glad. The last thing I want is to fall flat on my face with everyone watching. Especially John.
Finally our shopping was done. We had the dresses that we needed. I was so overwhelmed with excitement that it seemed like it took a month just to finally be Friday, the last day of school before the dance that night. I was pumped and I could not wait to see John. I was ready and nothing was going to spoil the moment.
