O.N.E|| Introductions

Sitting alone in her room, Alex was sitting, staring, holding her breath as she kept glancing at her clock. She had been home alone all day, she wanted it to stay that way.
When her family got home it would be chaos. Noise, arguments, crashes and bangs from mothers cooking, all she wanted to do was sit.
Just sit.
All Alex wanted was time alone, but it never came. You see the monsters, her monsters where always there. Always around. Never leaving, so really, Alex never got time alone.

Ping it was Alex's phone. Before even looking at the phone she got that familiar rush of excitement for she already knew who it would be. I mean, who else would talk to her? Let alone at 2pm...
She pushed back her short, synthetic red fringe and peeped over the side of her bed at the charging phone next to her. The screen was lit up with the all too familiar name. The name she almost craved to see on the screen, CAM🐥.
Cam was Alex's best, if not only real friend. They spoke every day, no matter the mood nor consequence nor topic, but there was a twist... The two had never actually met.
See Cam lived in Sweden, a country, in the opinion of Alex, full of landscapes and beautiful views and Alex lived in the UK... Let's just say Alex didn't have an opinion, but for the sake of this, we'll say it's a country full of history...and the (not very actually) rare drunken football fan.
Either way, the two were almost inseparable. Having skyped a few times and dealt with each other's messy drunken text messages, there were many facts the two knew about each other than even the families didn't.

"So, these monsters you mentioned, where do they come into play?" I may hear you ask... Well, this isn't a typical story, these monsters don't live under your bed. They're the ones you hear screaming in your ears when nothing's there, the ones who tell you wrong is right and right is wrong. Tell you to rip apart your skin until the blood is dust and scars as thick as tree trunks remain. Those are the type of monsters we're talking about here. So the story of Cam and Alex is not for the faint.
