After (y/n) had been sucked into the ground, we were taken back to the tribe's village to be...devoured. Their village wasn't big but it sure wasn't small either. There was about ten or eleven little tent like cabins. In the center was a huge fire spit.

The fire had already been lit and was glowing bright in the night and is ready for us to be roasted. They had been dancing and praising their god and all the while we have been trying to escape.

"It's no use, we are going to die!" Chloe wailed hysterically.

"Shh, it's going to be ok." I tried to calm her down but it just seemed to make her cries worse.

"No it's not; we are going to die right here." Devin cut in. I wish he would shut up, no one needs to be brought down any further. And poor Dylan, he's been curled up the whole time and was scared to death.

"You ok?" I asked. He gave a humorless laugh as he lifted his head, "No, (y/n) is out there with some demon doing who knows what with her and we are going to die. I never even got to confess my feelings for her."

I gave him a pitying look.

We gave up from trying escaping and decided to plan strategically. Like what (y/n) did, we are all going to rush out when they open the doors. Since there are more of us in one cell, we should be victorious.

After another fifteen minutes the chief had come to the cage. He started speaking and thanking us for feeding the village. 'At least he's polite about it.' I thought.

He called a few of his men to come and get us. I looked to the kids and nodded, we were ready to take off when-

"STOP!" a voice called out in their language. Wait, that's not just any voice, it was "Mr. Wilson?"

"DAD!" Chloe yelled!

"Chloe!" her father called out.

Mr. Wilson along with Borneo's police came out of the brush with their guns raised and aimed at the tribesmen.

The chief of the tribe was yelling and fussing at the intruders while we were basically crying with joy.

"How did you find us?" I asked Mr. Wilson while he unlocked the door.

"After you never came back and the kids missing, I knew something was up. And since tonight was the celebration night, I figured your disappearance had something to do with the Dayak tribe. I was able to get the law of the island to help me look for you but it wasn't that hard with a fire that big and bright." He finished and let us out.

We all exited the cage, relief flooded our bodies. "I didn't think you could speak their language. Isn't that the whole reason I came along?" I asked, a little confused.

"Oh no, I knew their language but you studied so hard to learn it so you could come with me, that I couldn't turn down this opportunity for you."

Once we were free, we were told we needed to be brought back to the town.

"What about (y/n)? We can't just leave her!" Chloe asked her dad.

"Don't worry, the police will find her. But as of right now, two of the officers will bring you back to mainland to catch a plane home."

"What? NO! I'm not leaving here without her." Dylan yelled.

"Yea!" Chloe and Devin agreed.

Mr. Wilson let out a sigh and hunched his shoulders before he stood tall again, "I won't endanger your lives! You will go home, do you understand?" he asked, his tone serious.

The kids stared at him as if he had hit them. That's when Dylan decided he was to run off!

"Dylan, get back here!" I called out to him, when the next thing I knew the other two followed!

"Hey, STOP!" Mr. Wilson and I yelled and chased after them, back into the forest.

I knew she would run. In fact, I gave her the chance to run. I love a good chase, unfortunately, the odds are not in her favor. Letting out a small chuckle, I walked back to the enchanted pool that was in the courtyard. This was one room that I purposely didn't show my princess for obvious reasons.

"Show me (y/n)" I commanded. The clear water swirled and the image of my flower appeared. Ah, such a beautiful creature. A shiver of lust rolled down my back as I leaned on the well and propped my head on my hand.

"Let's have a bit of harmless fun, shall we?" With a grin, I waved my hand above the pool and muttered a few incantations.

"Let's see how she likes my toys."

You had been running for, what seemed like, hours and you still haven't found a landmark of some kind. You decided to try traveling up stream first and so far it seems like that was the wrong way; luckily you did stumble upon a path so maybe all hope isn't lost.

"Once I get my friends and we get home, I will never go anywhere else again." You grumbled. You had decided that you were far enough from his home so you could quite running and just walk for a while.

Though a thought did pop into your head, 'I'm surrounded by nature every which way I turn and he seems to be able to manipulate it. So why haven't I been attacked by him or his vines yet? Maybe he has to actually be near me?' However, your thoughts are cut short by a noise in the brush. You backed away, getting ready to either fight or run when—"AGGHH" a little rabbit jumped out and took off running down the path.

Shoulders slumping and body relaxing, you let out a sigh of relief. Turning around to continue on your way, you bumped into something. Looking up, you saw a dead tree that was all twisted and oddly resembled a seven foot person. That so was not there a second ago.

Licking your lips, you decided to go around it without touching it nor taking your eyes off it.

You didn't get all the way around the tree when it moved and made an attempt to grab you. Jerking back, you fell on your butt trying to avoid getting caught and started scooting back. The thing then turned around and started to walk in your direction.

"Oh no, I don't think so buddy!" You jumped up and took off running again. You got of the path and started weaving in between trees and tall grass trying to lose the creature that was chasing you.
