Yuri POV
I open my eyes, and immediately I sense something is wrong. Sunlight streams through the transparent material, a contrast from the blackness of the night that I remember. And another thing. Soonyoung is looking at me. Directly at me.

Never in my 4 years of watching over him has he ever looked me in the eye. I suppose it's not his fault, since he can't see me anyways. But right now, he's hovered over me, looking me straight in the eye. Maybe I was laying down on another one of his friends.

I try to move, but when I get up, my forehead hits his. Funny. There's no one underneath me, and usually I can hit him as much as I want without feeling anything. I'm about to teleport myself onto the ceiling above to get a better view of what's happening when I hear his voice.

"Are you okay?" He asks, looking directly at me. Confused, I turn behind me to see who he's talking to. No one. I think I need a better view.

"Hey!" He waves his hand wildly in my face. "Are you okay? Can you hear me?"

There's still no one behind me. "Me?" I point to myself, just to make sure.

He nods. "Yeah, you."

"Me?!" I ask again.

"Yeah. Are you okay?"

"Wait wait wait. You can see me?" I ask again, pointing to myself once again.

"Uh..." He looks around nervously. "Yes?"

What? There's no way he's talking to me. I reach out and pinch his nose as hard as I can, something I've done many times before without his notice. Unfortunately, this time I'm not as lucky.

"Ow!" He yells, shoving my hand away from his face. "What the heck was that for?!"

"You can feel that?" I ask, starting to get scared. How could he suddenly see me after 4 years of not being able to? How is a mortal suddenly able to see me? Were we still on Earth? I look around to the beeping machines. I think so.

"How many times do I have to say yes?!" He covers his nose with his right hand, scowling. "Who wouldn't be able to feel that?"

"What?!" I yell loudly, hearing my voice echo through the room. My voice echoing? On Earth? I suddenly come to realize  that there's a steady beat coming from my chest. A heartbeat....Coming from me? I scream again and try hide from this evil force.

"Why is my heart beating?" I ask him with a worried expression. "Why is it beating?!" I demand. "How come you can see me?"

Soonyoung POV
This girl is crazy. I don't know who she is, where she's from, but all I know is that she belongs in the mental institution.

I'm also not sure how to reply to her questions. 'How can you see me?' What does she think she is, some ghost? And why is she so surprised her heart beats?

"It's beating!" She screams again, hiding behind me. I have no idea what she's hiding from.

"You should be glad that it's beating," I try to assure her, "It means you're alive."

Which was a good thing for me. Because if she died, I probably would have died right along with her, getting crushed from the car. I'm not really sure how a tiny little girl like her was able to hold that ginormous truck up, though. Then again, I don't really remember a lot. Just a lot of fuzzy bits and pieces that made me feel weird remembering. Another person probably helped her. I needed to find that person and thank them. In the meantime, I'm stuck with the hospital patient.
