Hux began walking home very quickly. He knew his father would be home this afternoon, and he had already stayed too long with Kylo. When he opened the kitchen door, his father was sitting at the table, as expected. He usually worked, so Hux only saw him on Saturdays and Sundays. "Hey dad. What're you doing home so early?" He asked as casually as possible. "Son. I have been worrying about you and your school work. You're always coming home late and I hardly see you doing work. Is everything okay in school?" He asked looking agitated. Hux was astounded. Where had he gotten this idea? Hux was a straight A student and never fell behind. He guessed it was one of his father's tactics to annoy him and get some emotion out of it. "Uh, no. I have A's and I'm not falling behind. And I have been hanging out with a... Friend after school." He answered swiftly. His father sighed. "Fine. But if I find out you've been focused on friends more than school, there will be a punishment." He said, and with that, headed upstairs. Hux rolled his eyes. Why was everything so complicated with him and his father?! He started acting this way after his mom died. Hux couldn't blame him the first few weeks, but now his father wanted his son to be a perfect image of himself. Disgusting.

That was WIERD. Kylo thought. Where had that whole Poe thing come from? And why did he tell Hux? Why had he been so awkward with him? All questions he couldn't answer. Kylo sighed. Nothing would make sense. Was Hux a friend or more? Did Hux feel the way he did? Only one way to find out. He'd ask Phasma to ask him some questions.
