"So... Do you remember how many points this project is worth?" Kylo asked Hux. They were in Kylo's room looking at human skin under a microscope. "I think about 100." He said looking back into the scope and writing something down. "Oh. Ok." Things had been so awkward between them after they had been assigned to do the cell project together. He didn't know why, but it was. When they had taken all the notes, it was time for Hux to go home. "So...see you tomorrow?" Kylo asked. "I won't be in school tomorrow." He said. He didn't give any reason, just shrugged and thanked Kylo for letting him come over to work on the project. Then he was gone. He sighed and went up to his room. His father wasn't yet home, and he heard his mom and their dog, Chewie, barking.
***Time Pass***
The bell rang to signal the end of class. Kylo tossed all his books into his locker and headed to the history classroom to owes one of his detentions. Something about not stating his own opinions in the middle of class... He didn't know. As he headed towards the end of the hall, Kylo felt as if someone was watching him. He shrugged it off and entered the class where Mrs. Singapore was sitting. "Sit. You may work on any unfinished work until this is over." She sighed and went back to her work on the computer. When the 2 hours were up, he headed outside to begin the long trek home. Kylo heard some leaves crackle behind him. He whipped his body around to see... Hux. "What the heck are you doing here?" He asked. Hux look taken aback. "Ah... Well, I thought I would meet you after school. To... Talk about our project. Ya know." He seemed... Nervous. Like Kylo was around him. "Uh... Okay. What is there left to do?" He asked. They talked about stuff for a bit while walking to Kylo's house. "Where were you today?" He asked. Hux's face turned red. "Places. With my father." He said simply. "Oh. Okay. Hey Hux?" Kylo asked. "Yeah?" "I know I'm not supposed to be telling you this, but the other day... I caught Poe Dameron graffiting the side of a building. I didn't think much of it, until I remembered I bumped into you coming out of the alley. I just don't want you to assume that I was doing anything. I don't know. It's stupid." He said looking at his feet. "No. I'm glad you said something. I felt kind of suspicious when you came out of there. So... Thanks." They stared at each other for a while. "Bye. See ya on Monday." Kylo said finally. "Bye."
