      We sit on the porch steps together. I sigh.
"I'm really sorry." She says
I shrug.
"I know I betrayed you. But that story I told you about the boy, that wasn't fake. That was real." She says
I nod.
"Are you going to talk to me?" She asks
"I just want to know why you did it. Why this even happened." I say
Eva sighs.
"Hayley. She wanted to know how much you cared. She wanted to know who far you'd go for your friends. And well you exceeded her goal. It's over now though. It's done with." Eva says
"Wow." I say
"Yeah..she brought me and Ryan in. We're actually her real friends along with Anisa. She had to pretend she didn't know Anisa..for the plan to work." Eva says
I nod.
"And I'm not dying." Eva says
"Yeah I know." I say
"Well I'm going back to London tomorrow.." Eva says
"Oh." I say
"Just wanted to talk and say bye if I don't see you tomorrow.." she says
"What time to you leave?" I ask
"9:00am." She says
I nod.
"I should get going." Eva says
"Bye." I say
"Bye." She says and walks down the driveway.
I step back inside the house. Harvey waits for me in the hallway.
"Hey." I say
"So how'd it go?" Harvey asks
"She's leaving tomorrow." I say
"Oh." Harvey says
I nod.
"Are you going to see her off?" Harvey asks
"Maybe." I say
"You should." Harvey says
I shrug. I go upstairs and rest on my bed.

       The next day I wake up early. It's only 8:30. I get my clothes on and walk downstairs. Only Harvey's awake.
"Hey." He says
"Hi." I say
"Are you going to see her off?" Harvey asks
I look at the clock.
"Yeah I guess." I say
"I'll come with you." Harvey says
I nod. We leave a note and walk out the door together. I walk to the bus station silently. As we approach I see Hayley, Sarah, Mia, and Lilly there.
"Hey." Harvey says
Hayley turns around.
"Oh you guys came!" She says
"Yeah." Harvey says
Eva steps out from the crowd.
"Oh Max, Harvey you came." She says
I nod.
I look down at my watch, it's 8:50
Eva comes over to me.
"I didn't think you would come." She says
I shrug.
"I'll miss you." Eva says
I nod.
"Are you ever going to forgive me?" She asks
I sigh.
"I want to. But I can't." I say
Eva nods. Her bus pulls up.
"Bye Max." She says
"Bye." I say
I watch as she says bye to Harvey and climbs onto the bus. The doors close and the bus starts to pull away. Then I notice something...a small fire on the bottom of the bus..
