-----Mina's POV-----
I sat on the floor of JYP's dance room, watching Nayeon dance all day long. Days and weeks passed by like this, doing different yet same routines.
For example, Sundays and Mondays are usually vocal lessons, or other types of lessons that Nayeon had to attend -for god knows what reason because this girl is already so freaking talented- like dance, acting and more.
Tuesdays to Thursdays, she was either in the KBS building to work and film for her drama, or she was in the dance room practicing a new choreo given to her by her dance teacher. She'd sweat non-stop even though the teacher tells her she could have a break, but she insists on continuing.
Sometimes if she has any free time, she either parties or rests, on Fridays and Saturdays. Sometimes, she even dissappears to god knows where. I've tried to ask her about where she disappears to, but she would only respond by changing the subject or ordering me to go and get useless stuff.
However recently, I've realized something about her. In all the weeks that I've examined her, seeing her being so hardworking was actually charming. It was nice to see how much passion this person has for the things that she does. I soon hope to find something that I love, and invest in the same amount of passion she holds. She's also even began to become nicer to me, we talk almost every night about her schedules the next day, and sometimes we even have actual conversations. We've even made cute nicknames for each other, I called her Nabong and she calls me Minari. And during her schedules, there are days where I catch her staring at me, and when I do, she immediately turns to look at another object, I found it cute somehow. Wait cute?? Why is this cute?? Never mind.
As I began to get deep within my thoughts about Nayeon, it was soon interrupted by Jihyo, who was sitting beside me on the dance room floor. Jihyo and I also got closer these past few weeks, he helps me whenever I don't understand what to do and I comfort her every time she gets scolded by Nayeon. Sometimes, it was funny, sometimes, it was pitiful.
"So Mina, how are you holding up??" Jihyo asks,
"What do you mean??" I questioned
"About this whole assistant thing," She then responds, making circle gestures with her hands, "Not too hard for you??"
I picked up the bottle sitting on the floor and gulped the water down before responding, "Well there are days where it can get pretty busy, but I usually don't mind it."
Silence quickly fell over us. We both continued to watch the drenched idol repeat the same dance move over and over again,
"Doesn't she get tired??" I ask, out of curiosity.
Jihyo crossed her legs, and spoke, "I stopped asking that a long time ago. She was like this ever since she became a trainee here, this right now..." Her hand pointing at Nayeon's direction, "Is nothing compared to her trainee days."
I stopped looking at the idol and turned my attention to Jihyo, "How so??"
Jihyo who seemed to notice me, twisted her whole body, so that it faced me. It was like we were about to play some kind of hand game. She took a deep breath before asking,
"Do you really want to know??"
I then nodded in response.
"Alright then..." She began, "Well you see Nayeon entered the company at a very young age, around 12-14, I think. She was one of the company's favorite trainees."
"Yeah," I said, telling her I understood.
"She was a happy child. Her mom and dad always dropped her off at the building, for her practice."
