Phase's curiosity was so strong that by the time he got there he said "let's go!" With no question on what they were doing. Luckily the doc knew what he meant. Dr. Hooves said "well I can see your exited. I was planing on checking the perimeter again to prepare you for what's inside, but I can see that we can just dive into the depths of the unknown". They got into the raft and the doc pulls out a device. Phase asks "what is that?" (The doc) "oh yes mind my manners, this is the aromatic Arid water travel apparatus. Or the AATWA for short" phase then replies "why can't we just row? It is in water after all." (The doc) "good question, but if you've been the the swamp as often as me you know it's all held together by vines. These vines will grab your ores and pull them underwater. The doc installed the device to the raft and they were off. They spent all day exploring the swamp writing down what they saw, but phase managed to get the two of them to the center, something the doc had trouble doing before. "Stop!" The doc exclaimed, "that whirl pool is not just swirling water. It's a form of portal leading between our world and another." Phase excitedly asked "how can you tell? Where does it lead? Can we go there!?!??" The doc "slow down! I'm sorry but spending to much time near this is dangerous. Everything should wait until we get back to the lab" it was a long trip and by the time they made it back it was past midnight. The doc "I think further study of this data should wait until tomorrow. Noon?" Phase said "I don't think I can wait until noon." The doc "I'm sorry but with how much magic you had to use today, if you wish to keep your pendiagem (that is a bone in our arms that some people can use to cast magic) heathy I suggest you rest until noon tomorrow. The doc ended the conversation with "enough talk. The longer we debate the longer it is until we can analyze this data". He went home to find that his roommate button mash was still up, phase asked "what ar-" before he could finish button exclaimed "midnight game tournament gata focus!". Phase knew the drill and put a note on the table that said "I'm going to bed. Whenever you wake up if I'm still asleep just leave me (doctors orders). If I'm not asleep I will be at the lab all day analyzing data with the doc, and please only interrupt us if it's an emergency." And then he went off to bed. His brain was still trying to process what he saw today, so he didn't get any sleep until 6 in the morning.
