Stephanie woke up suddenly and ran to the bathroom and began to vomit in the toilet. She felt a hand holding her hair back. She looked up to see Ruth. "you sick honey?" Asked Ruth. "Something like that." Said Stephanie as she rose from over the toilet. She washed her hands and laid back in the bed. Moments later puma busted through the door. "Wake your ass up girl we going to cosmos today" she said. Cosmos. Damn I ain't been there in years like a billion years! Cosmos is a state Fair that comes around 2 times a year
Stephanie looked at her phone. 5 missed calls from ACE. She put her phone down and picked out what she was gonna wear today. She picked a simple yet pretty outfit. She hopped in the shower. As she stood Infront of the mirror staring at herself she realized her belly was growing rapidly. She only found out she was pregnant 2 weeks ago but she felt like she needed a doctor's appointment. After she was done she walked down the stairs to see 2 unfamiliar faces along with August and puma. "Who are these people asked Stephanie. "This is our long lost friend Kiya I ran into her at the market and she wanted to tag along."said puma. They exchanged hi's "and her?" Asked Stephanie nervously. "Oh I'm August's girlfriend I'm Riley and you are.?"she asked.(seen in picture above) "Stephanie."she said blankly. August didn't look up from the floor. His head hung low. "Uhm im a little sick to my stomach so I won't be going today but you guys have fun."said Stephanie as she walked back up the stairs. A few moments later August walked in. "Hey Steph im sorry I didn't know how to tell you" "well maybe you didn't have to flirt and make me think I was special." Replied Stephanie. "You are special I just have a girlfriend."said August. "And you don't even know how dumb you sound well you know since we keeping secrets im pregnant."said Stephanie. "Well we didn't have sex sooooo.?" Replied August. "it's not yours dumb ass." Replied Stephanie as she stared evily into his eyes. "So why you telling me?" He asked. "Because I wanted us to have a future together August like it's like I know so much about you and we have so many memories but now it's like your shutting me out." Cried Stephanie. "Well when you left I moved on. Then after seeing you for the first time in years I wanted to rekindle something to but I got a woman and a kid."he said. "WHAT A KID?! You have a child wtf so more secrets??"yelled Stephanie. "Step child me and Riley are engaged and she is Riley's daughter and I accepted her as my own." Replied August. "engaged..."spoke stephanie. August just sat quietly. "So your fucking engaged to this bitch really August?"yelled Stephanie. "Im sorry"he said as he walked out the door. Stephanie sat staring at the wall. When she heard the door slam she got her car keys and began to drive. As she drove down jaunt st she noticed a walk in clinic. As she pulled into the parking lot she thought about the gender of the baby. She walked up to the counter and rang the bell. As she sat to fill out the paper she noticed many women some pregnant, some with small children and babies. But they all had a man with them. After Stephanie filled out the papers they called her name down. After they ran her test they told her she was 4 months pregnant and did she wanna know the gender. "Yes please"she said. "it's a baby girl."replied the doctor. Tears came to her eyes. A little miny me to take care of she thought.
