We got back to Justin's house soaking wet.
"I'm gonna head in the shower." I said, looking back at him. He smiled.
I got upstairs and changed out of my wet clothes and got in the shower. The warm water fogged up the shower door. It was nice feeling the warm water, after being outside in the rain. I close my eyes facing the water, running my fingers through my hair. Suddenly, I felt Justin's hand reach around my hips. I smiled. He kissed my shoulder moving over to my neck. I held the back of his head. The warm water running between our bodies close together. He grabbed a bar of soap and started rubbing it all over my back, massaging it into every crevice.
"What do you want to do tomorrow?" He asked, caressing my arm.
"Whatever you want to do."
He smiled at me and turned me around pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, and looked at him.
"Let's go somewhere. Travel." He suggested.
"Where to?"
"Well the second leg of my tour starts this weekend. Would you go with me?" He asked. I smiled and kissed him.
"Is that a yes?" He said through his lips, between the little distance we had from each other.
"Yes." I laughed.
Shortly after, we headed out the shower and laid in bed.
"Can I ask you something." I asked.
"Yes, anything."
"What happened to Sofia?" I hesitantly asked. He sat there and took a deep breath. He grabbed my hands and looked me in the face.
"She wanted serious, and I just wasn't looking for it. I haven't been ready for serious since Selena- in all honesty."
I looked down and let go of his hands. He looked at me furrowing his eyebrows. I fondled around with my fingers looking down, clenching my teeth.
"Until you came to me. Until you appeared in my life again, I wasn't ready. Sofia's young. She just turned 18. She hasn't gotten to that point of realizing you're an adult and are responsible for your own actions. She's still a child, depending on her father for everything..." He looked up at me lifting my chin, so that I would look at him too.
"But you. You're different. You've lived. You've experienced more in your 23 years of life than the average 23 year old. I need someone who has experience. You have. You are my rock. I love you." He said holding my hands. I squeezed his hands gently and he kissed me and then I fell into his chest. He kissed my head and we leaned into the bed a bit more. He shut off the lamp making the room dark. My head and hand on his chest and my leg wrapped around his. My face nuzzled under his chin and his arm around me keeping me warm.
"Goodnight."
