"Lonely Abyss"

This poem is dedicated for the children who sit with stagnant eyes while alone in the corner

Staring into their future as if it is some sort of an abyss

Exiled by society
Bystanders walk past with no mercy as if they barely exist

The kids that wear a mask on their faces
Praying to god wishing they were able to trade places....

With these kids who are more privileged

The ones who might have it all
But what about those frightened and timid ones who aren't as confident
Who fear life since they are so overwhelmed by lack of self esteem which gives them the inability to stand up tall

Kids who live their life in silence
Being tormented by others
Living a life of tears and not being able to escape this violence

You may think you lack a voice
But never should you doubt yourself Never acquire the mindset that you can't become satisfied nor happy

You have your own life and this life is a result of your own choice
Once you realize your value and strength then confidence will come

We all differentiate from each other
It's complicated to strengthen ourselves but not as hard for some

Stand up and remember your life is valuable
Mistreatment won't be tolerated by any
This is a tribulation experienced by many

Never imagine that you are here alone
Express your true mentality showing others mistreatment is one thing you will no longer condone
