Chapter 3

Oh and a heads up, there will be a bit of a change in-between first person and third person P.O.V. since it makes sense in Juvia's mind to say certain things in third person and others in first. He stared at me confused. "Didn't...you want to be free? He treated you like a slave!" He yelled as I shrunk into the corner of the bed. Natsu noticed how frightened I was and he placed a warm hand on top of my freezing head. "Did you know that they say the people," he took my hands in his, "with the coldest hands have the warmest hearts?" He said softly with a smile on his face in a way to relax me. I blushed harshly as a very pretty girl with blonde hair waked in. "Wow, you actually said something smart for once Natsu!" She said staring at our hands. "And trying to seduce the poor girl! How shameful!" She squealed. "Shut up Luigi!!!! I was just trying to make her calm!" He yelled as fire escaped his mouth. They got into an argument until a girl with red hair scared them so much they acted almost like lovers. I let out a giggle as Natsu looked at me with hope. "Come meet her! She is very shy and scared so don't strip ice-" Natsu looked over at Grey who was already butt naked. Everyone yelled or blushed or covered their eyes as I looked at him with no real emotion shown on my face. Natsu looked over at me, "Hey...you aren't fazed over this?!" He yelled dumbfounded. "W...Well I...." I froze up as everyone's eyes were on me. I shrank even more into the corner as Natsu looked at me. He softened his eyes more. "It's ok, don't force yourself." He said with an usually soft voice. Now it was his turn to be looked at dumbfounded-ly by his group. Never once has he shown THIS much of a gentle side to anyone, not even Lucy. She fumed a little with an upset look as she figured he already took a bit of a liking to {Name.} I gave a small smile at his kindness even if I was confused by it which shocked the group even more. No matter, I was given clothes and Lucy said I could stay at her place even though Natsu was begging me to go with him. I trusted him the most out of the group, but because of master-sama and everything I was told he did was bad I decided it'd be best if I stuck with a girl for a while until I was comfortable with a boy alone excluding from the time I was with Natsu this morning since I didn't know all the things master-sama did before was bad. Me and Lucy walked to her house as I slowly opened up a little to her. She was happy when I finally talked to her which was definitely good progress. Natsu brought up about me joining the guild but then the red haired woman, who I found out was named Erza, smacked him on the head and gently told me it was alright if I didn't want to join because of the situation I was in before. Maybe I'll think about it tonight. Once Lucy and I got to her house she let me take a long nice warm bath, gave me a large meal which I devoured, and told me I could sleep in her bed for tonight while she went out and bought a cot. It was heaven. I wasn't able to have any of this before unless master sama said 'you smell go get a quick bath with cold water so you don't waste the hot water' or 'you are getting too thin, I want SOME meat on you so I'm not grinding against skin and bones!' He never gave me a compliment unlike Lucy who couldn't stop saying how cute I was or how she thought my eyes were very pretty. Only these like, 'you don't look fat for once', 'you finally grew a bit of a chest', and so on. I don't understand why I thought he was good for me.....I was brainwashed to think it was ok. I heard a thump next to me as I snapped back to reality. I wanted to scream for help since I never fought before but a hand covered my mouth. I was about to cry when I heard a familiar voice say, "shhh shhh! {Name}! It's me! Natsu!" He uncovered my mouth as I turned on the lamp next to me. "N-Natsu-kun? What are you doing in Lucy-san's home?" I said which must of sounded pretty innocent since I could have swore his cheeks turned a little pink. "I came to check on you!" He smiled as it was my turn to blush. While I was trying to come up with a good way to give him a proper thank you I noticed he was on top of me. Out of reflex I looked up cutely while blushing deeply. "I....I didn't think you'd want the same as master-sama did....." I said while covering my mouth a  little and looking away. "WH-WHAT?!" His blush turned to a dark red as he fell off the bed. "I-I just wanted to check on you nothing more!!!!!" He screamed in an embarrassed tone. I looked at him with an 'Oh' look while sitting up. He sighed and patted my head in a way a big brother would to his little sister. This is what it must feel like to be cared for....right? Not what Master-sama gave me....emptiness and shame. I looked up at him cutely again. "Natsu-kun," I said with an innocent voice. "I love you!" I hugged him tightly as he was confused. "N....No wait {Name}!" He looked surprised. "You can't love me. You don't even know me well enough yet." He said looking at me with such confusion. "I....I don't care Natsu-kun!" I said to him looking at his eyes. "You kind to me and no one has ever shown me such kindness so.....I'll wait forever if I must!" I hugged him again as I nuzzled into the crook of his neck. "Oh {Name}.......I don't want to be the one that hurts you this time...." He said as I fell asleep in his arms.

Now, Juvia wants to say first of all......THIS IS NOT THE END NOR IS IT EVEN CLOSE TO THE BEGINNING! She wanted to make it a thing where reader still doesn't understand love that well. The love she feels for Natsu is just her being happy of someone being kind to her. Natsu only has taken a liking to her also so he isn't even really close to a CRUSH yet. So Juvia promises this isn't the end and she's glad she's found more inspiration that she's lacked for a long while. Also, please tell Juvia if she is moving too fast. She wants to make this lengthy around maybe 30 chapters while not diving into the dating part. All about falling in love. Plus Juvia wanted longer chapters and this is maybe about 500 words more then the last chapter which still isn't great but a start. Thank you for reading and see you all again!
