Chapter 1

Your POV:

I just got home from a sleep over with a few friends from college. I had to go home early because I started sleepwalking again... They kept saying I was weird and a bunch of other rude stuff... It was like 2 in the morning and I was exhausted. As soon as my nana (aka grandma, btw the character doesn't live with her parents) and I got home, I went to my room and plopped onto my bed and instantly fell asleep. I started dreaming about the stories my nana read me when I was little. Idk why though... I'm almost 20 and I'm in college and I'm still going to sleepovers... Kinda pathetic. I miss my childhood... Anyways! I started dreaming about the stories my nana told me about how there was a great battle between humans and monsters and how we sealed the monsters in the underground caverns of Mount Ebbot. But then I started waking up to really cold and strong wind... I was right at the very hole that was the entrance to the underground. Then there was a sudden gust of wind and I fell down the hole. Then everything went black....

A few hours later...

Your POV:

I woke up on a bed of red flowers. "Ugh... My head...." I rubbed my head to feel a small bump on it then pulled my phone from the pocket of my pajama shorts and it was 9 am. " HOLY SHOOT! HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN OUT?! "
I quickly jumped to my feet only to stumble forwards almost face planting into the stone floor surrounding the bed of red flowers. " God dang it... Everything hurts..." I look up to barely see any light except for a single dot coming from where I think is the entrance. I look forward and supprisingly there is a ruby red doorway leading to another room. So I limp to the next room to find a single golden flower. It's petals torn and ripped... Slouching over. I knelt down in front of it wondering how it got like this then it slowly looks up at me. I stared right at it with my eyes wide open! I jumped back but moved back forward to it because of my curiosity. It looked so scared... " P-Please don't hurt me!" Said the flower. "Why would I hurt you? You seem like a kind flower." As I said this to it, he seemed to ease up a bit. But I could tell he's still being careful. " My name is (Y/N), what's yours?" I asked it. "F-flowey... W-why aren't you trying to hurt me?" He asked me. Flowey looked at me both scared and confused. I gave him a warm smile and told him " I'd never wish harm on anyone. Not even a flower." He looked up at me and smiled but soon we heard footsteps. "Quick! Hide! Behind that Boulder!" Flowey disappeared into the ground leaving me to run behind the rock. As soon as I got behind it flowey was there trembling, " are you ok flowey? " I asked him. " Sh-She's coming!" He said shaking. I opened my mouth to say something but a vine commin out of the ground covered my mouth and made me crouch low enough behind the rock but enough for me to see the weird looking goat-woman wearing a red and black tunic thing... It looked very scraggly... Wait. Is that blood on it? Oh man it is! I was so scared but flowey motioned for me to stay quiet, so I did as he said and waited for the goat woman to leave. After a few minutes she went back through the doorway she came in from. I looked at flowey then said to him in a worried tone, " who the heck was that?" He gulped and said, " that was T-Toriel... Caretaker of the ruins..."
"She doesn't seem so bad.." I said to him remembering the blood on her tunic. "You never should of come down here..." He said sadly. "Why?" I asked. He replied with an answer I'll never get out of my head while I'm down here. " Here in the underground... It's kill or be killed ..." I stared at him scared that he'd hurt me but all he did was look at me with pitiful eyes. Then four large buttons appeared in front of me. "These are your FIGHT, ACT, ITEMS and MERCY buttons. Press the fight button and attack me." Said flowey. "Why would I want to hurt someone though? I could never do such a thing..." I said to him. He smiled a little. "Can you promise me something?" He asked. " umm sure flowey. What is it?" " Promise me that you'll never hurt a single soul. Never fight anyone, ever." He said this with multiple emotions in his voice. I smiled at him " I promise"
