_hopeless, 3:46am_

Jumin let the doctors take Seven back to finish, but he had to stay in the lobby. Jumin sat down near the doors so he would be able to watch the others come and go.

His eyelids were heavy from crying, and it was no use trying to fight the fact that he was tired. So... he fell asleep in the chair he was sitting in.

At a later time, Seven woke up in a dimly lit room. He was almost glad the lights weren't too bright, but when he looked down at his arms, he saw thick leather belt-like straps holding him down. He panicked and was about to scream when a nurse walked in.

She calmly explained that it was only because of his struggling during the process and undid the bonds.

"Where is he?" Seven asked, his eyes wide.

The nurse explained at Jumin was still in the lobby. She told Seven that she'd call him up.

Seven's stomach growled not far after the nurse left. He could deal with that later.

Jumin, downstairs, was woken up by one of the nurses who quickly explained that he was allowed to see Seven.

Seven rubbed his wrists and tried to stand, but was yanked back by an IV. Seven sighed and laid back down.

Once Jumin was taken to Seven's room, he quietly opened the door in case he was still sleeping.

Seven sat back up again. "Jumin...?"

Seeing he was awake, Jumin hurried over and kissed him softly. He helming this hand after pulling away, his eyes watery. "My precious Luciel... you're okay..."

Seven smiled weakly, but the smile didn't linger. His hands threaded with Jumin's and he blinked slowly.

"I'm sorry..."

Jumin sat by Seven, comforting and loving on him the best he could. He held his hand, brushed his hair out of his face, kissed his face. Anything he could do.

Seven  still repeated those words, I'm sorry. He couldn't think about anything else other than what time he had wasted. About how selfish he was to think about himself, and only himself.

"I'm sorry... but.." Seven trailed off, biting his lip.

Of course Jumin eventually fell asleep again. He was just.. so tired. His breathing was slightly trembling, but at least it was at a normal pace. His cheeks were still wet with a few fresh tears starting to come from his closed eyes.

Seven fell asleep as well, breathing evenly as his eyelids drooped and he slipped into a dark vision of nothing. He felt his hand still touching Jumin's, and he was reassured. He felt tired and slightly irritated.

He sat by himself in his dark little dreamland, and all his twisted thoughts came swirling around him. He listened to them all, and felt guiltier than a criminal on dead row.

Jumin dreamt of horrible things. Like what if Seven didn't make it? It was a good thing that he jerked awake just before the dream got any worse. He looked around quickly but when he saw Seven, he knew that it was all just a dream. Jumin leaned over and peppered kisses in Seven's hair and on his face slightly. He promised himself from then on out, he'd make sure Seven knew that he loved him. No matter what.

Seven screamed in an attempt to wake himself up, thrashing his arms and legs, trying to regain consciousness.

Jumin ended up getting smacked in the face by one of Seven's arms. For a moment or two, he was frozen from the stinging pain. But he quickly regained his senses and gently cupped Seven's face in his hands.

"Luciel..! Luciel wake up.. It's okay... Just wake up.... I'm right here."

The redhead's eyes flashed open and he started to sob pathetically, nearly slipping from the bed as he struggled to find Jumin's embrace. He was so tired of those thoughts, because they kept making him wallow in a pit of depression.

"Jumin..." Seven whispered hoarsely. "When can we go home..."

Jumin hugged Seven, running his fingers through the tangles of the male's hair. His eyes were locked on the door, hoping that someone would walk in... saying that they could go home.

"I don't know."

Seven scowled unnoticeably and laid back down. He eyed the IV in his hand and then the door, and then the clock, which read four in the mor—

It was four in the morning and Jumin had work later.

Seven sighed, trying to be patient and wait for Jumin to fall asleep again. But he showed no signs of going back to sleep. Instead, he held onto Seven's hand. He eyed the clock and sighed softly before getting up.

"I'll go see when we can leave, okay?" He kissed the top of Seven's head and quietly exited the room. Luckily a nurses station was just to the left, so he went and asked a nurse. Of course she went with him to check on Seven.

The two entered Seven's hospital room, Jumin taking his place in the chair beside him.

The redhead plastered a smile on his face as the nurse walked in. He might have seemed a bit too happy at that point but he was desperately wanting to go home. He would beg if matters came to that.

"Hi."

She smiled back and ran a quick check through the machines and all that other stuff nurses do.  After seeing that he was okay, she wrote everything down and smiled brightly.

"I'll return in a moment. You'll be able to leave then."

She disappeared from the room for a few minutes, but once she returned, two other doctors were with her. They unhooked him from everything carefully but then quickly left him and Jumin alone.

Jumin helped Seven up and pulled him into his arms, his face buried into the crook of Seven's neck. He hugged back tightly, but then pulled away and turned towards the window. He sighed heavily, rubbing his eye as he remembered he didn't have his glasses on.

"Do you know where my glasses are..." he asked quietly.

"Huh...? No?" Jumin looked around in slight confusion before patting his pockets, not finding the glasses or his phone inside either one.

"I left my phone at home.. Maybe they took your glasses off? The doctors? I could always buy you another pair."

Seven nodded slowly and then turned back around. His face was dark, an expression uneasy to read displayed. He breathed out deeply and walked towards Jumin.

"Thanks... for caring..." He smiled a bit, but like most of his smiles, it didn't reach his eyes.

"But you shouldn't care about me."

He put a hand on Jumin's shoulder before walking out the door quickly.
