_never, 12:25am_

Jaehee stayed on the phone with him as she grabbed her keys and got into the car. She started it up and sped off to MC's house. Seven kept talking while she drove.

"Jumin sounded.. r-really mad.. he said that MC drugged me..."

She arrived at the house, but when she looked around, no one could be found.

"Neither of them are here," Jaehee said softly, careful not to touch a thing. "The lamp is knocked over.. I think something really bad happened here, Seven."

She could tell from the tone in Seven's words that.. he was more worried about Jumin than MC. The boy was speaking again. "You h-have to find Jumin.. I'm coming home right now.."

Jaehee heard clattering of things and then nodded, figuring Seven was getting his things together. The rattle of pills could be heard before the male's voice returned, still small, but definitely worried. "Don't call the police... I'll be home soon... Just please find him."

"I won't," she reassured him. "I'll check his house first, okay?"

The call ended as she got back into the car. Jaehee drove as fast as she could, without wrecking, to Jumin's house. Once she got there, she began knocking frantically on the door, not getting an answer.

Eventually, she had to break into the house to look for Jumin. She looked in the living room, kitchen, bathroom in the hall, Seven's room, Seven's bathroom. She went into Jumin's room and stopped in her tracks.

"JUMIN...!"

Seven got into his car and switched on the engine, only then noticing how distressed he looked in the mirror. He shook his head and slammed the door, making sure he had everything before pulling out of the parking lot and onto the highway.

Jumin.. Jumin.... I'm so sorry.. I still can't even remember what happened...

Tears were blurring his vision as he came closer to home. Only about fifteen minutes more and he'd be able to sort it all out, and figure out what happened to him.

I'm so sorry... I did this.. even if I can't remember, it's my fault....

His hands were gripping the wheel tightly.

I'll be back... Everything's gonna be fine...

Now he was on the road, miles away from his house, when his car started to sputter. Seven yelled and cursed at it, but it only managed to go a little longer before it jolted and stopped. The gas was low. The car was dead.

The boy cursed loudly, tears blinding him as he got out and ran, his legs racing and his heart nearly leaping from his chest from fear that he would be too late. Why did he feel this way? Jumin wasn't in trouble, was he...?

WAS HE?!

He burst into the house, breath heaving and tears streaming down his face from the burning in his limbs. The redhead stumbled towards the hall, calling out Jumin's name with a raspy breath.

"In here!" Jaehee shouted, her voice tinged with fright as well.

Seven's heart nearly stopped as he came into Jumin's room to find Jaehee cutting the rope around the man's neck. He slumped onto the floor, his eyes wide as he whispered breathlessly, "I-Is he still... alive...?"

She pressed a finger or two to Jumin's neck and checked his pulse, letting out a small sigh of relief. "He is.. He's alive."

Jumin's chest was rising and falling slowly, and Jaehee left Seven in the room with Jumin for a little bit. She walked out to the hall, looking around and rubbing her eyes under her glasses for a bit. The female was about to walk to the kitchen when she heard soft mewling, so, following the sound of a lonely kitty, she found the black cat.

At first she was quite adamant about picking up the small mewing animal, but since Seven was busy tending to an unconscious Mr. Han, Jaehee picked up the cat and gently petted its head. It purred softly, nuzzling against the woman's hand as she walked into the kitchen to get herself something to drink.

She heard some crying, but was comforted by the sound of Mr. Han's voice, who had coughed a couple of times, but soon was talking to Seven in a soothing voice. Jaehee sat down on the couch in the living room with the purring kitten, and soon fell asleep.

Some time later, Seven stumbled upon a sleeping Jaehee. As he was wearing nothing but some wrinkled boxers and a t-shirt, he didn't dare wake the female. He simply draped a blanket over her and then scampered back to his room, climbing into bed to comfort Jumin and give him water. He rubbed his tired eyes as the thought of what exactly happened to MC came up in his mind again.

He gently ran his fingers through Jumin's soft, black locks. "Ah.. so... what exactly happened to MC...?"

The man stopped shifting about for a second, before his deep grey eyes rolled to stare into Seven's. His hand came up to cup the redhead's cheek. "Don't worry about what happened to her, Luciel. We won't be inconvenienced again. I assure you."

Those words sent a slight chill through Seven, but he nodded submissively and slid down in the bed. After pulling the covers over his shoulders and cuddling up next to Jumin, he shut his eyes to rest. Thinking overtook his brain as he struggled to rest, but he tried his very best to be quiet, and to push the bad thoughts away, for Jumin.

In a hushed voice, he whispered softly, "I love you, Jumin."

As he was drifting off to rest, curled up beside his lover, he heard Jumin murmur, "I love you too, my sweet, sweet Luciel."
